  1. Goga! Goga! Goga! Goga wasting away in Orlando get him to the raps..and Gafford always injured pass on him

  2. Goga is the answer. He's the perfect big and would flourish under Darko and his fellow country mate Mamu.

  3. Jak is slow, gets constantly stripped of the ball, can’t shoot and has issues making layups in traffic. Quickly can’t run an offence. He should be playing off the ball or trade him.

  4. Maybe it's hometown bias, but I think Gradey would not need many decent games to rehab his trade value. He still carries the rep of a shooter. If him and Ochai can get a backup big in trade, do it.

  5. Omg WE DO NOT WANT GOGA. The man is a liability in SOO many ways on the court. Hes so slow and makes dumb decisions. There is a reason his playing time has always been limited for his entire career…no coach he has ever played for has trusted him enough. The magic are my second fav team btw I watch them all the time.
GOGA is NOT someone I want on the raptors. Hell no

  6. Goga fits our brand of ball amazing. And he can start if yak is out. Maybe it’s Mogbo and a second or two for goga

  7. Agbaji don’t have value by himself so you would need to package him with something like a pick.

  8. The Raptors have so many assets in the 905 that they should not be afraid to make a quality trade with someone on the main roster because they can replace them from the 905. Getting that 7ftr rim protecting centre is so important right now !

  9. Dallas is stuck with AD. He is older, expensive, and always injured. And by the way, he does not want to play center.

  10. Trade for Dayshon Sharpe and Marvin Bagley. Send Ochai and Mogbo to Brooklyn for Sharpe. Send a 2nd round pick for Bagley. Trade Poetl at the draft.

  11. I would love to see a 3 way deal with Toronto, Detroit and Portland. Raptors send out RJ, Ochai and Mobo along with this years 1st and possibly 2027 first to Portland. Portland sends Scoot Hederson, Donovan Clingan and a bad expiring contract to the Raptors. Portland could sent RJ to Detroit for Ivey and Detroit's first pock this year

Detroit has been desperate for a player like RJ, Ivey has been out and hardly given any minutes since returing, RJ is a massive upgrade. Portand get 3 draft picks this year in a loaded draft and is only losing Clingan in their line up and they get to play the center they drafted last year and tank for a high pick cause they are done this year. I watch Hederson in the off season and whomever gets him when he comes back from injury will not ever trade him, Clingan is the perfect fit right now with a lot of upside potential. It is a win win for all. All 3 teams could get under the cap with this trade as well I believe

  12. gradey is awfull. sure he is a good offensive player when his shot is falling. but he makes so many mistakes every night and as a 3rd year player its not growing pains. he gets blown by on almost every possession

  13. Raps have some good 905 talent and a couple higher paid bench guys that could go in a trade. Lawson should be on the big club for sure and if smart Raps would sign hime to a three year friendly team deal

  14. We 100% should have moved Ochai when he had value draft night. Our Front Office has been a mess since Tampa season.

  15. Stop this nonsense the raptors just spent 4 years rebuilding and need that playoff experience they dont need to make dumb trades just for going 2rounds they aren't close to contention just stay the course this year maybe if something like the freak otherwise its not worth it give barns some playoff games to learn the difference in intensity

  16. @benrogers these raptors trade rumors are made up by stupids. dallas has a chance at play in or 1st round. they are not gonna trade gafford and be without a center if AD hurt.

so the price is high, likely gradey jakobe cmb and raptors top 4 protected 2026 pick for gafford. thats what i would ask if it takes away my only back up center.

same for orlando magic, goga is their back up center with token one leg on the team to appease his brother franz so the price will be high. ochai cmb and a top 4 protected 2026 first for goga.

these clowns making up these rumors think other teams willing to get rid of their back up center when they are in play in or playoffs for nothing or cheap. thats not the case.

magic may even ask for more as they are a playoff team, rj top 4 protected 1st for goga and bad contracts they dont want.

  17. how you rehab ochai agbaji value is to attach a top 4 protected 2026 first and a lottery protected 2028 first to dump him for something serviceable. he is shanghai agbaji after all.

  18. Poeltl had his 2nd good game of the season last night and we can expect at least 6 more this season.

  19. NBA teams that exceed the luxury tax threshold face both escalating financial penalties and severe roster-building restrictions, which become increasingly punitive at the first and second "aprons" (higher salary levels).

    Financial Penalties

The NBA's luxury tax is an incremental system where the penalty rate per dollar spent above the tax line increases in brackets. Half the money collected is distributed to non-taxpaying teams.

The standard rates for the 2025-26 season (with a tax threshold of $187.895 million) are as follows:

$1 to $5M over: $1.50 tax per every $1 over.

$5M to $10M over: $1.75 tax per every $1 over.

$10M to $15M over: $2.50 tax per every $1 over.

$15M to $20M over: $3.25 tax per every $1 over.

For each additional $5M over: The tax rate increases by an additional $0.50 per dollar.

Teams classified as "repeater" taxpayers (those who paid the tax in at least three of the previous four seasons) face even stiffer penalties, with their initial tax rate starting at $2.50 per dollar over the threshold.

    Roster-Building Restrictions (Aprons)

In addition to the financial penalties, teams over the luxury tax lose access to critical mechanisms for improving their roster, especially as they cross the two "aprons". The apron levels for the 2025-26 season are:

    First Apron: $195.945 million.

    Second Apron: $207.824 million.

Penalties for exceeding the First Apron:

Cannot acquire a player through a sign-and-trade if the move keeps them above the apron.

Cannot use the Non-Taxpayer Mid-Level Exception or the Bi-Annual Exception.

Trades are subject to stricter salary-matching rules (within 110% of outgoing salary).

Penalties for exceeding the Second Apron:

Incur all penalties from the first apron.

Cannot use the Taxpayer Mid-Level Exception (only veteran minimum contracts allowed for free agents).

Cannot acquire players on the buyout market during the season.

Cannot send cash out in trades or aggregate salaries.

Cannot trade a first-round draft pick more than six years in the future.

If a team remains over the second apron for two or more seasons within a four-season span, their first-round pick in the ensuing NBA Draft is moved to the end of the round (frozen).

  20. i think they should just pump jakob poeltl up with horse steroids and pain killers every game and make him play every game this season with no load management, and just tell him to heal in the off season.
