Reed having a bad game is a killer for Houston. He's so trash defensively, his offense has to be productive. I am kinda amazed Houston has not hinted at getting some PG to fill in for FVV because they need a solid PG to be able win the title. Otherwise they'd be done. Even getting a Jrue Holiday type player would work to give them something different than "can reed shoot threes today"
Ref sold the game , should've been over in the 4th houston win by 1
Denver just keeps getting blessed by the refs.. I just wish they would acknowledge it
Houston is missing Eason and DFS as well
Timmy Jr tripped all by himself
Bad officiating being written off as a "variable you have to consider" is a bollocks excuse & a pathetic comment when talking about a SPORT. There is no room for a variable such as poor refereeing if you want to be taken seriously as a fucking sport, stop sucking up to NBA officials & the NBA for once in your god damn life.
The only reason ehy the rockets lost were the terrible refs
Nope. Lost me after the 12 minute mark. This was a screw job.
Refs absolutely carrying Luka and Jokic this year.. it’s a race war
All these Rockets complaining about the refs. Did you see that Segooon shot!!?!?! Lol
You guys are commenting under the wrong channel if you're going to whine this much about refs.
Austin reaves for amen Thompson Houston gets a combo guard that can play make and lal gets a athletic poa defender that has supreme athleticism
Rockets got robbed , it was a bad officiating by the referees , NBA is rig
I hope all the Rockets fans in these comments don’t decide to walk into a lake all at once. Would turn into the Dead Sea😂😂😂😂 so saltyyyy
I dunno, that free throw was in the last 2 seconds…
r u serious. 1 or 2 bad calls by the referees change the dynamics of the game so stop it ..
The NBA definitely has an officiating problem. There’s clearly a big difference when it comes to what they will allow on defense. No consistency. We just want to see competitive basketball. I don’t like to blame the refs but they clearly can impact a game. Great game even with a few ill advised call.
At first i felt like the tripping call was bad. Then i thought about what happens if you let that slide. Hardaway fell on his face and was taken out of the play with 3 seconds left by no doing of his own…cant have that. Let it slide and then everyone starts "incidentally tripping" people and acting like it was an accident. Accident or not, that was a tripping foul and it was the right call. If the roles were reversed rox fans would want it called. Altitude showed the top down angle thompson definitely hit his leg caused hardaway to fall. Just the truth. Hardaway might have hit a shot there if he wasnt tripped never know. Rockets are good, hope we get a tough playoff series to watch in the spring.
To Rockets fans … Cry me a river, cry me a river 😀
Den vs Hou is becoming a rivalry. Jokic vs Sengun
Denver’s clutch defense will be better once there two best defenders return as will there offense considering AG is a very good shooter
Why are comments sections in anything sports-related always so brain dead? It’s depressing.
Everyone is upset about the tripping foul. Yet, both Jokic and Jonas fouled out???? Hmmmm interesting.
Yall gotta stop doing that shit with these refs if it a bad call it’s a bad call ain’t no gotta be prepared for that naa you can’t make that call with 2 sec left in a 1 possession game gotta start holding refs accountable or it will never happen
That had no Fvv no tari no DFS Stop making accuses for them weak as call
Houston won in regulation and Denver won in overtime
Ewwww, hope Rockets haven't seen that ESPN story about the calls lol
Rockets definitely not missing any players either 😂
Just an aside Jason, that Amen tripping Murray ruling is actually rooted in the Lakers series last year when Luka tripped on Jaden McDaniels even though he just stepped on Jadens foot. I believe that they did not call the foul there but they ruled the ball out on McDaniels because they both fell down and the ball flew out of bounds(I actually think that was a pretty fair way to call it in the moment as they Lakers at least got to retain possession)
That is when Lebron bonehead inbounds giving up a pick six to Jaden McDaniels and JJ Reddick lost his mind. Sent in tapes and complained and the league came out and said "that should have been a foul" and they have been calling it in big spots ever since. So when Murray gets that cheap trip, we can all just blame the Lakers. That moment set the precedence.
I think it is a dangerous one too because I think offensive players can angle shoot this by just aggressively running through defensive positions and just stepping on a toe and flopping. Jaden was aggressively planting his feet in Lukas way so I could see it going either way but I have seen it called a lot now where a Defensive player is actually trying to get out of the way, and the offensive players just runs into them.
Oh! So, you REALLY mean Jokic & Murray & REFEREE DISSECT Houston's defense!
Great win by Denver. 74 combined points from Jokic and Murray is unreal. Especially in a game without Gordon, Braun and Watson for extended minutes. Officiating was questionable on both sides. Saturday rematch should be fun.
