Vooch expiring contract can help a apron team get off bad salary for a 1st round pick.Then the bulls can take back more salary than they send out
Seems clear, results we want won't be there now. So we should probably sacrifice now for the future. But how far out on the future? My thought is to work with Giddey/Matas timeline (and Ayo if he stays). So, our big move would be leading up to Gids final year.
Who would be the ideal piece to get three years from now, and how do we set ourselves up to do that now?
Love Coby White HOWEVER, the best course of action would be to trade him now for someone who has more of a mid range game or is more consistent as far as catch & shoot, 3&D type of player if Josh Giddey is going to be our point guard.

Matas is in year two and he needs a mid range, and he definitely not getting that many shot attempts cause the Bulls are shooting to many three point shots. If he doesn't have the three he passes the ball that's bad coaching he should be telling him if you see a lane attack make them stop you
I think if we have any chance of acquiring Walker Kessler we need to do it now. Once he is healthy and a restricted free agent there is no way we’ll win the bidding. I’d offer the Portland pick and a protected 2027 pick (for starters) and see if Utah is interested. Who knows? Maybe they aren’t wanting to pay Kessler 30-35 million per?
He an unrestricted this offseason, if he wanna be a Buck then what? We dont have room to play hard ball we may need to get what we can the sooner the better

I've got zero against Billy. Fine gentleman. Good coach. It hasn't worked out. As happens in 90% of major sports and head coaches.
I take the philosophical approach. The Jordan era Bulls were the greatest team ever. In any sport. Ever. A payback period of at least 25 years seem reasonable. Maybe 30.
If there's any chance to replace Billy by losing, then I'm okay with the Bulls losing their next 8 straight games. 🤷♂️
