The Clippers schadenfraude is real. After the Aspiration scandal, the "Streetlights over Spotlights" campaign, I can't help but feel a little petty about this as a Lakers fan. There are some die hard Clippers fans who after suffering through racist Sterling, had a little hope with Elton Brand, and then finally got some quality with Lob City who I feel bad for because they thought Ballmer would really bring in a new life and identity. Instead Ballmer, the richest owner in the league, doubles down on this little brother inferiority complex by trying to pitch the Clippers as the "people's alternative" to the "elitist" Lakers. Here in LA, the only Clippers fans I know are transplants, these aren't the Clipper Darrells who really deserve a better run team than this. The Clippers have had a respectable run the last 12-13 years but despite being competitive, never really challenged for a title. In all those years the Lakers were terrible they couldn't grab a foothold in LA sports culture and now the Lakers have Luka again and are set for the next 5-10 years. Not only that but the Clippers just help OKC perhaps be the new dynasty in the NBA for the foreseeable future.

I love watching the Clippers get their butts kicked. Last night against Memphis, at one point they were up by 10. I changed to a different game. Later I went back to Clipper game, and they were down by 12! Ha ha ha! The whole season has been this way.
