Both teams had really bad calls by the refs
Thought you analyst we experts when it come to analyzing games so your telling me that them having three athletic players out was more important then we being out our top three best three point shooters, and we should of won this game like those bench players are not nba professionals?and since when do you trip someone with your sheen?stupid call cost us a chance to get a win on the road talk facts loser.
Both of the Nuggets and Rockets matchups this year have been incredible. Playoff intensity with such high quality hoops going on. Not sure how the Nuggets continue to win as they've had injury after injury but Jokic and Murray are playing at such a high level they've been able to overcome it. Spencer Jones continues to be a mini revelation.
How about KD with 5 blocks? I like him on this team. He' snot allowed to win without Steph tho. F that
hehe…just a little digression here: Jason man, you seem like really cool and ok guy and I've been watching and following you for at least 2+ years !! so why that robot-intro every time ? it is not fit to you (conditionally don't know you in person) at all…at least it is just me and my impression but after all it is so irrelevant for sure, just purely curiosity matter !! cheers…
Mailbag: What is the ceiling for Jaden Ivey nowadays? Does he have star potential? Would you hold on to him or trade him and other assets for Michael porter jr this year if your Trajan, While there is a possibility of Jaden developing, there is a window right now with the injuries in the east.
Rockets haven’t been clutch this season. They lost close to the thunder, lost close to the pistons, lost close to the nuggets twice, lose close to the spurs. They are losing all the close games to the contending teams. Bodes poorly for the playoffs.
Thank you for the level-headed comments on officiating. To me, tripping has always been called the same as a face mask in football…intent does not matter. You caused him to trip, it’s a foul.
Jokic foul trouble was the game
Denver is not the only team with reserves coming. The Rockets will soon have Dorian Finney-Smith and Tari Eason returning. Stay tuned 🚀
A thing i'd note from these two DEN-HOU matchups
Jokic clamps Houston's OREB gimmick. Lowkenuinely. Adams and Sengun get zero motion on the O glass vs him. I mean he is tied for 1st all-time in lifetime DREB RAPM. And this held true without an actual PF next to him, ever since AG went down in their first matchup.
You mean, you did not know whether Reed would make the right read?
MAILBAG:
Hi Jason over the last couple of weeks, teams seem to have adjusted to Jalen Duren's breakout offensive season & are now swarming him whenever he starts to iso at the FT line. On one hand, this was somewhat inevitable given his points p/possession when he was allowed to play 1 on 1 was at Jokic level efficiency & his FT attempts have more than doubled since last year. The flipside is his turnovers have gone up especially when he doesn't recognize where the help is coming from. I understand this is something he's never experienced before so he does need to adjust to teams respecting his skillset, but is there anything schematically that can be done to help him still be that offensive co-star alongside Cade (e.g. run the floor & quick-seal like Aaron Gordon does so well)? Thanks as always for your content
how about that Jazz Mavs game? Pretty hilarious Mavs collapse. At less than 30% into the season, Jazz have over half their predicted total wins, 10 & 19 respectively. Jazz top assist team per game in the western conference, just ahead of the Nuggets.
congrats on the massive channel growth – that's a Lot of hard work
we r point guard away from becoming champions fvv fcked up man
There was 2.3 seconds to go in the game that one free throw you're referring to tied the game. Yes they lost because of a BS Call you sound pretty ignorant with your analysis when Jokić missed the shot that would've given them. The win that miss shot would've meant the game was over. Your logic is stupid.
Just tell us you don’t know ball, all gripes about the refs at the end of the game were warranted and the NBA even said so themselves.
Also you’re acting like Houston was healthy, they’re missing 3 players as well (Braun would be a 9th man for Houston FYI)
Just call it “I Don’t Know Hoops Central”
MAILBAG: Hey Jason, I watched the show you did recently with the Nerd Sesh fellas and was fascinated about your take that Luka is playing “immature basketball” right now and how his shot selection improving could positively affect his efficiency and maybe the gap between him and Shai can start to close. Another thing he can do is limit the amount of times he complains to refs when he doesn’t get a foul call and run back on defense. Changes like that is what can elevate the lakers to wining big games especially in big moments. However I worry he’ll never address this issue considering we’re in his 7th season, he got a taste of nba finals basketball, and he still continues the shenanigans.
P.S: I started watching your content last postseason and I’ve been loving every moment. Keep up the great work!
Celtics whole offense was too perimeter based. Only getting 8 points from bigs is never good. Obviously Tatum solves alot but you need some sort of interior presence. Your whole offense being perimeter is bad
Here me out
2023 – NBA Cup Finals (Lakers vs Pacers) -> Pacers go to the NBA Finals next year (2024)
2024 – NBA Cup Finals (OKC vs Bucks) -> OKC go the NBA Finals same year (2024) and win the championship
2025 – NBA Cup Finals (Spurs vs New York) -> I'm betting Spurs are getting to the final either this year or in 2026
Hey Jason good to see that tou can already put your hair in a bun, welcome to the club!!
