This game is exactly why it’s frustrating watching Jokic. This was his best game defensively, all season. When he turned up the defensive intensity in the second quarter, the entire team followed. If he played with that much defensive intensity every night, this team, missing 3 crucial players, would win 70+ games.
Okay, last thing I need to see is execution in the clutch. I know they won this one, but it's just Jok 3s, isos, all very disconnected, they are not 3-7 by accident. When they have the full roster, I want to see THJ closing, BB closing, CB closing, PWat closing. I want to see them find a rhythm, I want to see them knock down open 3 after simple pass, because the defense had to overload, I want to see Jok punish single coverage, I want to see Jamalstar punish single coverage for wide open jumper, I want to see smooth ball movement to set up the action, and I want to see the finale-oop. Basically I want to see 2023 Nuggets in the clutch, then I bet on 4-1 against OKC, 16-3 overall.
It is the best win of the season for sure.
The start of second quarter was huge by the bench. Shoutout Jonas and THJ particularly for reeling the game back in and more importantly not letting the game get out of hand
Both players are good, but you can tell Spencer played 5 years of college while PWat has a very small amount of basketball experience compared to the rest of the league. Spencer makes quicker decisions and it really compliments the 4 other players on the court

I honestly think that was a B- level of game from Jokic . Amazing the stat line he puts up when he wasn’t even amazing tonight . I think Sengun pisses him off and then he just turned it up a level .
Jokic fouling out in OT made me nervous
I pray the standings end up like this at the end of the year, or we by a miracle get the 1st seat, but like this would still be close to perfection

The whole game was weird for Jokic: He was hyped. He was emotional. He was rushing. He was impulsive. He looked like he wanted to rush and make up for the last error… the whole game!

Honestly, the FO screwed up & jumped the gun giving CB a big contract prematurely. Because how do you hang on to your starters, give PWat a contract & Spence too? I know some answers, but fans won’t like em.
