Explain: Steph Curry’s Record-Breaking 48 Points and 12 Threes

@EricApricot highlights Steph Curry’s historic season at age 37. In the December 14 Portland-Golden State game, Steph broke multiple records, including surpassing Michael Jordan in most 40-point games after turning 30. The video analyzes the teamwork and plays setting up Curry’s scoring outburst, focusing on the zipper cut. The episode concludes with a holiday version of the traditional celebration audit.

  1. Eu fico mais triste com esses vídeo do Curry do que feliz, eles te lembram constantemente que não importa o quão bom Steph ainda seja com esse elenco não chegará a disputar uma final, não da nem para saber se conseguirá passar do Play-in.

  2. GSW has no self respect or dignity. Until they trade Green, Pod, Heild, as well as fire Kerr, Shut up and sit down!

  3. Loving it! Breaking new ground with the R3IND33R celly and PatSpenc PI aka "Short Magnum" outro!

  4. Congrats Eric on the collab! As much as I want to celebrate Steph's effort (who wouldn't – dude's a GOAT), we could use a therapeutic video instead. Maybe we could (also?) do a video about how the heck do we stop turning the ball over 18 times or get a stop in the fourth quarter or not get back to "curry save us" 1 vs 5 offense. 😢

  5. Absolutely love to see this celebration of Steph’s greatness, even in the face of a loss. There actually was a lot to like about this game, especially seeing Steph go off, of course. And gotta say I’ve been missing your videos, which is unfortunate in many ways. But like I said, a lot to like, especially from an offensive perspective, as this video shows.

  6. If Steph's heat can ignite some of the smoldering logs beside him it could be a great Christmas bonfire and I won't have to watch that channel on TV

  7. How can a team have a sharp shooter like curry and lose as many games as they do i hate to say this but I wish he would go to a better team

  8. After watching the Thinking basketball video that just came out it's interesting to watch this and see all the illegal screens that go uncalled all over the place. Offensive players just run into their defenders and move push them out of the way now. At what point to players put on pads and start just playing football?

  9. On the game as whole I have to say it almost isn't even fun anymore watching Steph give these heroic efforts for no reason or result. Through their decisions and actions this team over years has made it very clear that they are happy being very mediocre. A little more than half a decade ago efforts like this from Steph would have led to double digit blowouts by the end of the 3rd quarter. Now he does it and the team is barely competing in the game.

  10. Eric, you are amazing! I smiled through the entire video (Steph!!), but TJD's R3ind33r celebration was just pure Eric Apricot! More, please! And thank you, GSW, because we cannot get enough EA!

  11. All right GSW glad you discovered the best content out there — Eric is a gem! I hope this is the first of many collaborations….

  12. Love the video as ever. Maybe time to do an E1P on Dray throwing an ungettable pass to QP and then throwing a terrible-twos-tanty while the game continues. If you can help explain that and how the Warriors can reduce TO's we may be able to assist the team with a win.
