  1. People don't want to hear it, but the Mavs envision Kyrie, Christie, Flagg, PJ, and AD as their end of the season starting lineup.

You're building around Flagg, who is your current and future #1. And you already have solid role players around him. Christie who is a decent defender and good shooter, and PJ who is a switchable defender who pairs well with Flagg.

  2. Coop is not getting enough buzz the stuff he doing Come on Man!! Its cool we got one. Lets Keep going lowket

  3. Even outside of the top 3. Kingston Flemings would be a good consolation prize to pair with Cooper. He's a complete player, the other guards have things to be desired in the upcoming draft. I don't think he gets past pick 5 though, so the Mavs should definitely be tanking. I don't like the idea of trying to trade for a running mate. If their own team are willing to give them up, there's probably a good reason for it.

  4. Cooper doesn’t need an anchor center. He needs an athletic stretch center like Chris Cenac. He needs some time snd patience but the payoff could be great. Pick up Asa Newell in an AD trade to the Hawks and you get your rim runner too.

Dallas centers are cooked. In 2-3 years Cisse is the only current center who will still be on the roster.

  5. The Cooper Flagg rebuild should be about adding shooters to stretch the floor. If 3 shooters had been out there with Coop against the Jazz then he would have scored 50+

  6. I was driving home from work when the Luka trade news broke.. everytime I pass that same spot I think about Luka…. Atleast we got Coop now

  7. I love Brunson and knew he was "HIM" before he got drafted; he was a champion at every stage of his career before… just not the perfect co-star for your 6'7" point gaurd that isn't an all-defender (just whatever you do, don't let him walk for nothing!) Ryan Nemhard also is one of the most talented players in the NBA, probably THE most talented player in the NBA that would be made to look like he's completely out of his league in the half court of the playoffs and against the full court press 🤷🏽‍♂️

  8. When y’all gonna realize the NBA has change those days of two star players getting it done, ain’t it you’re going to need a team in order to win the championship. Boston started it off and now OKC A team that was built through trading assets, the draft and free agency and all that paid off. Detroit looking good also

We have to build around all the young pieces that we have that’s the only way to secure the feature, if that means possibly trading away some old pieces to bring in some young talent then we may have to consider that.

  9. They might get a co star in the upcoming draft, or will trade for one. He will have Kyrie coming back this year and next. I wonder how that will look. All they need to deo is trade AD asap and start that search.

  10. I would LOVE to have buzellis with Flagg, I don’t think FLAGG wants buzellis. He was the one saying how he had his way with Flagg every matchup, and how Flagg was ducking smoke, and that he was better than him.

  11. Honestly the perfect piece to go with Coop is Austin Reeves. He’s young enough and a point to compliment Coop. Not going to happen though lol

  12. 27:53 ……In the summer of 2027 Cason Wallace will come up for his extension and I don’t think OKC will be able to afford him. They’ll have 150/M wrapped up in the Big 3 by 2027-28 and will be looking for cost savings. He’s a guy we could get Realistically. Same with Wiggins, Joe and Mitchell.
That could be a trade for AD (if healthy) or Kyrie (if he’s still great). SGA needs someone like Irving, much like Luka did.

  13. 28:08 Neo is the guy in the 2026 draft.
He should be on Isaac’s list.
Risacher could be a great 3rd option.
    I think that’s the deal.
    AD to Atlanta for Risacher.
Kyrie to OKC for Wallace, Mitchell, Joe and Wiggins.
    A healthy Lively.
    Extend Christie and Nemby.
    That’s my team.

  14. It doesn't sound like there is much interest around the league for AD. I heard Pistons, Heat might be interested. I'd like the Heat to take AD & D'Angelo & Lively for Wiggins & Vasquez. Don't think the Heat would do it. Keep Flagg, Ryan, Christie, Gafford, PJ, Marshall, Williams & Irving. All others trade em for 2 x 3D athletic wings and 1 x guard and 1 x center. But they must be below 28 yr olds. Our current roster even with Irving & AD can not beat Thunder in 4/7 series.

  15. Flagg is having an unbelievable start to his NBA career. No question. The bigger question is AD is AD simply not dependable to stay on the court. Same for Lively. The next big question is Irving is not getting younger plus he is recovering from ACL injury. We are not going to get to 500 by mid January. Even if we get to the 6 or 7 seed which would be unbelievable I see no way done get out of the first round in the West. IMO we run as hard as we can until the Jan 15th trade dead line if we playing at a high level let's go for it. If not then move AD, D'Angelo, Klay, Liv, Martin and just check the water on Irving.

  16. We really need to get a 2nd pick in this draft. I think Avdalas from VT and another wing would be a perfect draft

  17. Chet is the perfect 4 for the Thunder. With Hartenstien at 5 and Dort at 3 and Shai & Williams at guards plus there bench they are loaded.

  18. Nick, you went through a list of players who were not chosen in the top 3 and didn’t go back to the 2013 draft when owner Cuban overruled his GM and traded away the 13th pick instead of drafting a player the GM publicly really, really wanted to draft — even calling him “the next Dr. J” (the player was drafted 15th by the Bucks). I’m not a fan of the current ownership group because of the Luka trade, but if the Luka trade is any indicator, at least this ownership will probably not overrule the hired basketball “experts” on the team.
