How do the San Antonio Spurs stack in the West?

How do the San Antonio Spurs stack in the West?

Are the San Antonio Spurs among the best in the West or is it too soon?

Host Jeff Garcia and guest Mike Jimenez spotlight the San Antonio Spurs’ remarkable turnaround this season, as San Antonio rides depth, relentless lineups, and statement wins over the Denver Nuggets, Oklahoma City Thunder, and Los Angeles Lakers to an 18-7 record.

With De’Aaron Fox, Stephon Castle, and Dylan Harper proving doubters wrong about backcourt chemistry, the Spurs now force every opponent to bring their A-game.

Key storylines include Keldon Johnson’s thriving sixth man role, the integration of new acquisitions like Luke Kornet, and the evolving roles of veterans like Harrison Barnes. Can San Antonio sustain this breakthrough and become true West contenders?

  1. Could Sochan be benched because of a failed drug test? He has had a recent injury and might have used something illegal to "enhance" the healing process. That might lead to a 25 game suspension, possibly more, possibly less.

  2. Wemby needs to rebound. But he wants to be a hero in every possession and go for the blocks. Blocks are sexy, but rebounding wins games
