NBA cup finals happened last night, so anyway…
Lots of people are focusing and dismissing Wembys off game to a loss in his family. Though that may be the case, doing so downplays the effort made by the everyone on the knicks. I saw some possessions where Kat was literally too heavy for Wemby to move. He tried to shoulder Kat for space and barely nudged him, leading to an awkward off balance shot attempt. These plays not only stop him from scoring, but because of the off balance, he isn't able to even be in position for a rebound.
Ppl need to focus on the plays more than giving an excuse to their preferred player. Overall, the game was enjoyable to watch.

i'm really surprised spurs didn't hack mitchell, especially considering his historically terrible free throw shooting
have to give the knicks their flowers. super deep team with a lot of scoring off the bench. clarkson and Kohlek were killers and Mitchell Robinson changed how Wemby guarded the paint as well. More often he was dropping down to box out Robinson instead of contesting shots like he usually does bc Mitch was grabbing so many offensive boards.
The cup is awesome. Its not supposed to be as important as the Larry, never could be. But its another thing to win, why wouldnt youbwant that on your resume for your Legacy?

Yeah, you wouldn't have those Jordan Clarkson 3s without Robinson offensive rebounds (and on one of the plays Robinson gets a steal on the other end of the floor). Both guys came up big but you can tell how much of an impact Robinson is having in a game when teams have to resort to intentionally fouling him to try and get him off the floor.
