Another embarrassing lose!This your night my night philosophy gotta end.Like what did we get KD if we don’t allow him to close the damn GAME…Im tired of seeing seagun taking the last shot!
Sengun and Jabari got smoked on defense all night. Spacing was horrendous. Decision making out of the double team was bad and way too predictable. When KD passes it out of the double, they don’t always have to attack, especially when both Amen and Sengun were inefficient at the rim and Sengun misses FTs. Get the defense to scramble then get KD in motion. He only missed 3 shots, yet had had less attempts than 5 of 18 Jabari, and 11 of 26 Sengun. That’s inexcusable and I don’t think it’s due to the coach. There were several times where they were gesturing for them to get the ball back to KD. Just doesn’t look like they’re thinking the game through and that’s when the bad habits show. That’s what happened in the clutch. One player should always be open and get a good attempt when the opposing team is sending 2 players to KD. But when you don’t have spacing, and can’t put Reed out there before Sengun was getting cooked on defense and wasn’t cleaning up the boards when we got a good defensive possession, you have to put Adams out there which leads to more than poor spacing.
Well they gave away all that young talent for more older roster. Now the defense is trash can't keep up with more young faster teams. Glad I became a Spurs fan after the KD trade, blew up a young squad for a geritol squad.
Raphel Stone gave in to Ime just to keep him in Houston. Should've let him go to the Knicks bring in Sam Cassell who was apart of the 2 cgampionships and could have help the guards to be better. Plus kept the young core together. When from no.2 to 5th or 6th best team in the west. Darryl Morey all over again.
Ask the hard questions please. Why run non shooting/playmaking lineups when kd is constantly getting doubled? You cant have Kd getting doubled and the only other shooter is Bari. Thats crazy. He was just in the corner. The players on the court couldn't make them pay for double teaming.
Teams have figured us out. KD is the only guy who can make a shot more than 5 feet from the basket. Teams don’t even guard Amen on the 3pt line anymore, then he tries to dribble through three defenders. Sengun does the same thing. You need more guys who can make shots from the perimeter. That’s what creates spacing. IDK maybe let Sheppard play PG for a while, and let him actually run the offense. All he ever does is give the ball to Amen, KD or Sengun, then everyone just watches. It’s shit basketball.

Can we trade Sheppard to the Warriors? They’ll know how to use him.
Rockets focused on Nuggets game. We also need a good guard. Those are the two big reasons.
