I can't believe I'm actually saying this. Ever since I've become a Nuggets fan I've always criticized Jamal for his constant injuries, but now (knock on wood) MAL-STAR!!!!!

Jamal biggest weapon is 3p shooting indeed, when he's actually focusing on the season, not saying "we are fine in the west", he's low key baby Curry. Just makes you think about the wasted years 🙁 EDIT: the thing is you can't actually guard Murray 3 or Jokic three, else you giving up wide open 3s from one of the shooters on the team, or Jokic open floater. And they are both 40%+ volume shooters. That's it, it's over for the league, praying for health, if we healthy it's over…it's over
Stop being superfans and accept criticism when criticism is due . Jamal deserved criticism for any regular season comment up to this year. SO for 9 you could say he was slacking compared to any of his starting 5 teammates. That is not hate its objective observation.
If Pickett would JUST Play Aggressive!!!!!????!!! He could become a Chess Piece for the Adelman Mad Brave Scientist that is Courageous Enough to Utilize ALL the pieces on the Nuggets Chess Board!!

From the Strawther, Pickett, Tyson draft..who would have thought that it would be Pickett stock up so high and Strawther stock down so low. Strawther got every opportunity (especially from Malone), and he failed to be consistent, failed to make shots, failed to stay on the floor. Jalen Pickett tho has just gotten better and more confident. Pick has really just been making the best out of every opportunity. I think he is clearly the one out of that draft.

Biggest difference between this year's team and last year's is not the amount of talent. It is that this team is unpleasant to play against. What I mean by that is that you will get a couple of bruises from Big Val which you wouldn't get from DJ, you will get a couple of bruises from Cam Johnson which you wouldn't get from MPJ, you will get 10 times more from Bruce Brown which you wouldn't get from Strawther. This team will score buckets but they will also fight you and get you out of your rhythm which is so important in basketball.
Beside Jokic and AG and from time to time Braun all our players no matter their actual skill level were pleasant to play against last year and that just can't work. Just look at Spencer Jones, his limitations are so obvious, but he has this oh so important quality that he is just unpleasant to play against and that is pretty much what you need next to Jokic.
If it's pure vibes game and everything is falling Nuggets with Jokic will score 140, but if it is a rock fight than these kind of players will just annoy opponent enough to get them even more out of sync. Like by all metrics Strawther should be much more effective on court than Picket, but he simply isn't because he is pleasant to play against or how people like to put it soft. And if he tries not to be soft he just racks up stupid fouls because he is than doing stuff that just isn't natural to him. There are guys who just don't know how to compete at NBA level, no matter their body or physical attributes. Prime example is Zeke Nnaji, has the body to be tough, but just isn't and will never not be pleasant to play against.
