So trade Donovan Mitchell who without a doubt is a top 3 player in franchise history & build around two guys who don’t show up to begin with yea man sounds great. Donovan and Mobley are the two pieces garland and Allen are to redundant and don’t maximize Mitchell and Mobleys Strengths

Altho i agree they don't have dawgs, they mainly need a good floor general cuz that team lost all offence from last season, hustle guys won't improve them much because 3 hustle guys can't turn the existing team into tough finishers
They should have moved off from Allen and Garland last offseason. Mitchell can’t be a no.1 option. And it’s no fault to him. It’s borderline impossible for a player under 6’4 not named Stephen curry to be a no.1 option
D Mitch is Dame Lillard 2.0. Did we forget what he was doing with the Jazz? Trade Mitchell if you want to rebuild, trade Garland if you still want to contend with this current team.
There’s no way the Clippers are dumb enough to give up 3 rotation caliber players and a draft pick for Garland. I like DG but his injury concerns and lack of defence is really risky to bring on, especially while adding in a pick. That’s not a move to compete, it’s a move to coast. Same thing for Phoenix, they’re not gonna give up the guys who’ve been their second and third best players for an injury prone guy that can’t play defence.

I might be crazy but I definitely think Barrett is better than what people give him credit to be. Raptors were top of the east when he played and they've dropped off since he's been hurt. He does a lot of things decent/well out there
The Cavs looked better with Careless Levert, he was like the teams smoothest playmaker that naturally got the bigs easier buckets while providing instant offense off isolation plays.
What I’ve been thinking is a straight up trade of Donavan Mitchell for Giannis. If Bucks go for it, Garland and Giannis would be an elite duo. Garland has elite off ball skills with great passing iq. He’s the perfect PG for Giannis. Plus I think Donavan Mitchell and Giannis would just be Dame and Giannis 2.0
Cavs just need better leadership. Best thing Cavs can do is trade for CP3, not for his play on court, but for accountability in the locker room… They just need better leadership from a player standpoint…
