  1. We probably need another rebounder another a big man who could we get cheap that might fit on the team? Hate to give up Champagne or Sochan but ones a NYer the other a strong defender maybe more playable than Yabusele, who is dnp 7 days a week. And there’s another nickname, he and Vic r th French connection

  2. @elizajane93. Maybe time to switch to decaf and try a couple gummies. I agree w you and love your passion, but these guys are just trying to talk the talk, occasionally providing some insight on our cup runneth over cup runnerups.

  3. I don't think Wemby's injury history should be a concern just yet. It is just speculation that he is too tall to have a long NBA career. He has missed games due to blood clot, ankle sprain from stepping on a ball boy's foot, and calf strain from someone falling on his leg. None of those injuries have been wear and tear on the body. Not saying it can't happen but the Spurs have been good at managing his injuries. To put it into perspective Devin Vassell has probably shown more wear and tear injuries than Wemby over the same length of time.

  4. The notion that Wembanyama isn't built for this or is injury-prone is shortsighted. He's had no significant injuries. He played 71 games his rookie season after a long summer with the national team. The 11 games he missed were due to the Spurs' overcautious approach. He then played a full Olympic schedule, reaching the Gold Medal round. The following season, he missed games due to a growth-related clotting issue, which was treated, possibly surgically. Once corrected, it's corrected. He missed 12 games this year. Those missed games were also partly due to the Spurs' extreme caution; Wembanyama stated he could have returned sooner. This all stems from the scientifically unfounded fear that calf strains lead to Achilles ruptures. Media members like Devin should be more informed before labeling Victor as injury-prone.
