The national media are star F'rs…the Pistons hv played team ball since the early 70s, one superstar & the rest are solid players…does it matter in December who's the top teams? We'll know more when we play teams from the west, i do believe their top 2 in the East tho
I think we need some size if we do make a trade. I feel like the Bulls will trade for AD as they are that team that's close. Trading Levert for Collins under that trade exception would be ideal too. Honestly we could throw Duncan in that deal too . Collins is an expiring contract who will decrease in value after this offseason but would be valuable here on a deal like Harris will get after this season. They absolutely don't have or need to make a deal but John Collins is a guy they should consider trading for though
Once Jaden Ivey gets to 100% the Pistons will have NO NEED to make any moves, let alone for someone like Gannis who would force a series of changes to performance and chemistry. Gannis MUST have the ball in his hands to play. This alone would destroy the chemistry built on the current squad. Detroit has the FORMULA to dominate right now. AD is a MASSIVE NO. He's injured, barely plays defense, is old so he's not hustling. Just NO. We're GOOD.

The ONLY championship AD won was during the COVID season when fewer games were played and no fans were allowed in the building.
Anytime the pistons lose… the sky falls and they talk crazy about Cade… I give it 1 or 2 season and the big trade will be Cade asking outta this shit hole 😂😂😂 0 help is coming and this team isn’t going to no finals, so great job building a middle of the pack squad but once they over pay Drummond 2.0! Cade will 100% be blamed for any loss, so enjoy the clowns bashing and micromanaging Cade until he crashes out and dips.

Cavs were a 1st seed 2nd round exit. That's a good outcome for the Pistons

Hindsight. I don't think anyone looked at the Pistons schedule and would have predicted 20-5 and first in the East. Pistons tend to get up for road games. A successful trip out West will probably just lead people to move the goal post to they haven't played New York yet, or OKC, or Denver, etc. It'll always be something.
