The Raptors Are Hiding A MONSTER!

The Raptors Are Hiding A MONSTER!

I will be discussing the latest news and rumors surrounding the Toronto Raptors. The Toronto Raptors signed Chucky Hepburn as one of their undrafted players. Chucky Hepburn is a player who is very unique in how he plays basketball. I will be discussing why he could be the best player the Raptors have signed via undrafted players since Fred Vanvleet.

  1. His 1 drawback is size. Shooting over and getting shot over. I could see teams switch him on small wing and then take him to the paint. Would like Raptors get a big PG to team with or maybe replace IQ then have Shead or CH as change of pace players.

  2. A. Gabriel is his first name.
I have his middle name also. Maybe next bonus question we can share that also.
A true Chucky Hepburn fan here.
He is a menace on the floor. Extremely high intelligence in the PG position. He isn't selfish and seems to not care about making the shots as much as he wants to see his team succeed together. If he sees a chance to pass the ball for his teammate to get the shot, he chooses that path.
Chucky being a new rookie maybe it's confidence coming into play (guess only) because his college stats at UofL was great!
I agree he needs to work on consistency and focus some time bulking up (whenever a two-way gets time). Lol.
Give him time to develope and get comfortable. He may be our next Fred VanVleet. ๐Ÿ€

PS I do know that when a baller is having an off day, the intelligent ones accept the bad playing day and do other skill sets to contribute to a win is the best mentality to have instead of throwing up forced shots and make your stat % lower.

  3. I said chuckie will be better than Shead and I still believe that. I just donโ€™t believe Shead will ever be a good enough shooter. To me heโ€™s another Davion Mitchell type of player. He will be a good back but he doesnโ€™t have the quality to be a starter. Hepburn on the other hand could possibly be starter in this league at some point in his career..

  4. Guy looks great in the G league he is not making the NBA without minimum 10 pounds more muscle, as he is undersized at 6 foot he cant have 2 hits against him. If he could up his scoring a little get north of 15 points game. I know guys Fred and Lowry did not start to take off till they were around 24, so I hope he continues to develop

All things being said the stat that stands out to me is if he was getting exactly 30 minutes a game he would have pretty much 9 assists a game that is nuts. Having 2.5 steals in under 30 minutes is simply elite. If this guy packs on some muscle and his natural man strength kicks in around 24 this guy has the potential to be our lead point guard

  5. We are not playing all that well but we are still close to the top,,,,when we get Giannis you can start planning the parade
