  1. I feel like the only players I want to trade are Allen, Hunter, Nance.

We are so banged up and need time together. I do not want to trade Garland

  2. I think you’re over valuing Allen and especially Garland. I really do like the idea of garland to Houston for Eason, but imo Eason is a better asset than garland

  3. The thing is, you can't get better talent, and save money and not trade a draft pick. Their best path is probably a decrease in talent in exchange for better fit and depth, but then you got to find someone who wants Garland or Allen and are willing to give up rotational wings and I don't know how many teams want that

  4. Cleveland is and should be desperate to win now (this is THE YEAR, with Tatum and Hali out and ORL and ATL still young). We know the Harden playoff track record is terrible, but what about Harden and two 1st’s for Garland? Clippers would get a 26 year old All-Star facilitator to play alongside Zubac and build around for the years to come. They need to get younger, Cavs need to win this year. Who says no?

  5. A weird trade that would piss off both fan bases, but could work out in the end.

Patrick Williams and one second for DeAndre Hunter.

Patrick Williams is still young and has become the new DeAndre Hunter with his contract.

I've always had a feeling that another coach could reach him, and Kenny has shown the ability to reach younger players.

You decrease your toll in the second apron for the next 2 years with the price of an additional year on the contract. By then, the contract won't seem so bad and will be movable or maybe Williams plays into it.
For the bulls, you just get a savvier player that can actually step up and score 15 to 25 points every once in awhile.

  6. Trade between the Cavs and the Lakers :
Allen for Hachimura + Thiero + swap first pick 2028 (not a great value but they can think that they will finish higher than the Lakers this season).
This gives the perfect Center to play with Luka to the Lakers.
This gives a better wing player to the Cavs (than their current wing players), meaning that they can trade away Dean Wade who shouldn't be resigned bytheway.

  7. Allen and Garland value is junk right now. Hunter looks completely lost on defense especially when you see him make the same errors as Tomlin and Tyson.

Any Cavs Suns trade is off the table as the owners have nothing but distain for one another, and Brooks and Mitchell isn't any better.

Any Suggs Garland trade isn't going to work. Suggs is bigger and better defender, but not a point gaurd and streaky shooter at best.

Bucks can keep KPJ as he was sent out of Cleveland in a hurry for throwing food at a coach.

Could see the upside of Garland and ANT playing together but the Wolves would have to keep McDaniels to keep the defense up but if I'm the Cavs I have to get McDaniels backs.

Allen I think is starting to get phased out because they are looking for a trade for him and trying to a preview of the team without him.
Allen I think needs a change of scenery. He isnt a low post bruiser like everyone wants him to be. Would love see Marvin Bagely, or Gafford to Cleveland since they have a lower cap number and would make a great spot starter or premium backup.

Just you mentioned though making any kind of trade for the Cavs is going to be a nightmare. 3 or even 4 team trades might be the way they have to go. That way a Hunter or Allen is just a piece and the main course of the trade.

  8. Cannot compete when paying 2 short guards close to salary max. One must go, obviously DG due to time missed for injuries. Another stubbed toe away from missing another month. Try to get Sabonis for him, Cavs need rebounder.

  9. Second apron trade restrictions apply after the trade is complete, not before. The Cavs can aggregate players if upon completion of the trade, they are no longer above the second apron.

  10. Everything looks disgusting. That's expected because we're in the 2nd apron but it makes no sense to make rash decisions but throwing out Allen/Garland/Hunter for trash role players and 2nd round picks makes zero sense. Tough it out. I still think this can work out.

  11. Honestly the amount of trades they’d realistically need to make to get under the 2nd apron makes it pretty much impossible for them to do anything really. If you could get the Jazz and Nets to take on huge amounts of salary you could get under the apron but more than likely you’d need them to be the 3rd team in trades and the other team to give them some assets.

  12. Garland or Mitchell to Brooklyn for MPJ + Danny Wolf. Not saying I want to trade DG or DM, but it's interesting to me and it works on the ESPN machine. I do think Cavs need to get out of the apron. Their guards make the most, they are the biggest defensive liability, plus they need guys over 6'7"

  13. Garland, wade to Miami, Murray, Alvarado, Herbert, bey to Cleveland, Jacquez, rozier, ball, strus, Simone and picks to pelicans. Big trade but it works, Miami gets a true PG, pels clear cap space and add picks and Cleveland sheds 16 million and gets tougher on defense

  14. I’m calling it now pelicans will be the 10 seed by the end of the season, all we needed was some consistency with health. Will love to see the pels rebuild without trading zion

  15. Correct me if I’m wrong but couldn’t they just attach a pick too hunter and dump his salary too say Brooklyn and get outta the 2nd apron opening up more flexibility for something bigger whether it’s Garland or Allen?
