It was pretty confusing how we got no calls for sure
I didn’t expect the Nuggets to be able to beat the Rockets for a third game in a row, and the referees wouldn’t have allowed it anyway, which we saw in Jokić’s case (two quick personal fouls called in the first quarter), and that clearly affected the flow of the game.
What we did see, at least, is that Pickett is very useful for the team and deserves to play more often (he can rotate off the bench with BB and THJ).
We also saw that only Gordon and Watson can really guard KD, and both of them are injured.
With very poor performances from Murray and Cam Johnson, it wasn’t realistic to expect the Nuggets to win.
What remains a mystery to me is why DaRon Holmes isn’t getting a chance, because I believe he is certainly a better player than Zeke Nnaji.
Now they need to regroup and play well in the next game against the Jazz, because it wouldn’t be good to lose another home game.
Likewise, I don’t expect a win against the Timberwolves, since that would be a third straight one (though I hope I’m wrong).
David Adelman, if you were looking for answers, its easy, just go check the replay. Fortunately, all 5 fouls were legit easy calls. He gets way too many fouls, but if it's against Jokic, you are confused?? Hmm.😢
Nuggets were lucky last 2 games winning by single possession against rockets, not tonight. Refs didn't help. 😂

The Nuggets need to stay in a hotel in Denver a few games to see if that breaks their home slump. Something in their home life is obviously throwing them off.
I respect Adelman fighting for the team. Its something we didnt know he had in him.
Reffing were one sided calling tiky taks on Joke and ignoring other side. Shots not falling and we down starters.

Nuggets play sloppy, almost lazy ball in periods during the game. They need to be engaged almost the entire time if they are going to win against good teams.
