Max already looks really solid on the offensive end but he’s lacking on defense, especially against bigger guys. If he can develop into a good/average defender, the future of the center position in Sacramento will be in good hands.
With Max and Dylan Cardwell playing the way they are, a Sabonis trade doesn’t sound so bad.

I think the Kings have wrecked Keon's morale, making it almost imperative they move him in trade while they can.
In my opinion Kings do not respect their players.
Max was a team low -23. His numbers are fools gold. He’s getting extended PT but his defense is god awful and he is too soft around the rim.
I'm really happy that Coach Christie is starting to let loose with the rookies more. Our young guys have lots of promise in our club, especially Raynaud, Clifford, and even Carter. I'm also happy Cardwell has showed his stride in the game as well.
I think we could have a good mix of veteran presence leading and guiding the rookies if we keep our productive vets in Sabonis, Monk, Ellis, Westbrook, and Achiuwa, and trading the all of the other vets away for the best package.
A starting lineup of Westbrook/Carter, Ellis, Murray, Sabonis, and Raynaud sounds great, especially with the great synergy Westbrook and Raynaud have had recently. A second unit of Westbrook/Carter, Clifford, Achiuwa, Eubanks, and Cardwell also looks like it has good potential, and I'd like to have as much switching as possible for the young guys. Shoutout to Eubanks too, but I'd like for his spot in this unit to be upgraded if possible.
If we can trade Sabonis to a good team for him, while getting picks for this year's insane draft, I'd miss him but be more than happy with the outcome. But he can still be a productive player in this lineup, and he and Westbrook as former All-Stars and former MVP respectively, can teach our backcourt and frontcourt youth. Elite vets with accolades been proven to be a great help for youth development for other clubs, and I do believe it can be the same for the Kings.

That was a terrible game last night by both teams. You can tell both teams are at the bottom of the league. That wasn’t fun at all Matt!! 🤔 Nice to see the rookies playing but we’re was monk last night? 10 minutes for ellis?? Doug said, he wants to win but doesn’t play monk? i was at that game and it didn’t feel fun at all. the pace was slow and monk was a healthy DNP again. also the quality of basketball felt incredibly mediocre at best imo
I am so disappointed i can't even express it. I purchased tickets for a game in February where I can travel to see family. I paid a lot to see Westbrook mostly. And now the team so pathetic and now who knows the conditions of any player being on the team. Im so disgusted.

Not as fun as the game in Portland but a big improvement from what I was watching before
Cardwell was entertaining.. love to see him get more play time. All the rookies played exceptionally well. If there was one disappointment it's our 3pt shooting.
Keon and Keegan just are not hitting 3's. Interesting to see Schroder and DeRozan our go to 3 pt guys when that's not their jam.
