  1. Rumor is that Vic left the game yesterday early to catch a flight from DC to France for his grandmother's funeral and if he returns tomorrow it'll probably be based on when he gets back and if he was able to rest.

  2. Working for a boss/business where they let you have a day off to fly to/back from a funeral is a godsend.
Wemby is a bright young man who loved his grandmother. Lets chill.

  3. Those of you think it's his grandma, which means the spurs are lying about his calf management. The man is injury prone, or the spurs got a condom on him. Everyone fears because of his height will injuries derailed his career

  4. If he's out due to his grandmas injury fair enough. If not then idk what to say really. I would expect him to get back into the starting lineup sooner rather than later, at what point is it just paranoia from our side?

  5. Saw this coming a mile away. Wemby is super talented but has not progressed! Spurs mishandling this entire situation. Get used to this. Don’t buy tickets if you wanna see Wemby. Sad!

  6. even though a forward, didn't yabusele play backup center for the sixers to embid? trade sochan & olynek for yabusele & someone else. if sochan doesn't fit us, give yabusele a chance if management thinks he'd be a better fit… and him being friends with the fellow Frenchman wemby, he could learn from wemby while wemby is hurt. sochan isn't happy in san antonio, so of yabusele would, I say trade.
last thing regarding our forwards, give Jones-Garcia more time. he's looked great & promising. on Barnes' bad nights, I don't know why Jones-Garcia doesn't get a chance.

  7. It doesn’t even make sense why he’s coming off the bench. He could start the game and still play 20 to 25 minutes. Why is he coming off the bench? I really think the Spurs are being way too overly cautious.. he didn’t have a boot like Dylan Harper but yeah Dylan Harper is able to play. He was questionable unlike Dylan Harper but yet Dylan Harper’s able to play. When Dylan Harper came back he was able just to come back have a couple of minute restriction games and then into full swing. Victor comes back and even though he’s been out I believe longer than Dylan he has to come off the bench with a minute restriction…

  8. Do the Yabusele trade now. Love Sochan! But Victor needs a BIG BODY BODYGUARD! It’s not about Sochan vs Yabusele as assets or players . It’s what is best fit next to Victor!

  9. 1. Victor: Hopefully they are just accomodating him attending his grandma's funeral and the calf is not worsening.
    2. I'm not against trading Sochan for a bigger, 3-and-D PF. Yabusele is 6'7", 265 lbs. and he is 30 years old, and his career stats are not great. I would not choose him as a better option than Jeremy, but if the Spurs think that someone of his physical attributes and skill set is a better fit for our team, I would not be upset about it.

  10. I just looked at OKC’s injury report for today and they’re also ā€˜resting’ a lot of their key players probably for the b2b Christmas games. They have a game vs the Grizzlies today and Caruso, Chet, Hartenstein, Wiggins, and Jaylin Williams are all out. So if Wemby rests for the game on 23rd so he can play on Christmas and if he’s truly not 100%, then I’m okay with that. It’s not gonna be pretty for the Spurs tho on the 23rd. They might get an epic spanking and the Thunder is looking for revenge rn.

  11. Last game he started the 4th quarter. 40 seconds later he was being subbed and shown whispering in Mitch Johnson's ear. I've been waiting for this report ever since.

  12. Really hate the clickbait titles. Stopping by to let you know that I intentionally won't click on your videos when I see them because of this fact.

  13. I get then trying to rest him but if they are planning to rest him do it with under 500 teams we should see him start against the thunder

  14. If you listen to the commentators in last night’s Wizard game, they said Wemby doesn’t look thrilled sitting on the bench after he hit his 20-min mark, especially after the Wizards made a run and their lead was reduced to a single digit. Tbh, I don’t know what to feel with what the Spurs are currently doing with him. I feel like resting him a lot is also not good for Wemby. Unless they lied about his injury and it’s more severe than a low-grade calf strain/calf stiffness, then by all means rest him until he’s 100%. Minutes restriction is already affecting his stats and now sitting him out for more games is gonna reduce his chances of getting post-season awards tho. If Wemby is okay with that, then I’m fine with it.

  15. The whole sochan situation is frustrating me why not use him. He is better then olynyk defensively and they are basically the same offensively why is this a thing.

  16. Bro nah. Resign Jeremy for 5 mil 2 years. He's gonna be good. I wouldn't change our chemistry. If a bigger trade comes along. He can still be part of it. We need a bigger return. Hes a top ten pick. GO SPURS GO

  17. Sochan is a decent player. Hes in a bad mental space right now. He has low trade value right now, but they cant afford to resign him anyway

  18. If this is due to his grandmas funeral, they need to release a statement. If not, this is a slap in the face to their fans. These premier game tickets are expensive, and he can play back to back games last week vs Washington and Atlanta but not a home game on a days rest?

  19. He should have played for our fans here at home and rest on Christmas. Im so glad i didnt buy tickets to this game my wife was gonna buy me great tix for Christmas but i told her to wait

  20. I’ve watched Wemby live, close up since he came to the Spurs and he has seldom played a ā€œfull gameā€. I wouldn’t be surprised if his average mpg for all years is 26 minutes. I don’t think he has the anatomy to play 82 games at 35 minutes per. I think this is a look at his whole career. I will tell you it is a total drag to have a seat and watch him play 5 minutes a quarter.

  21. Bro stop sugarcoating your words and just speak the truth. This is bullshit. Just say it ! It’s stupid to think otherwise. Even wemby looked pissed last game to not play fourth quarter

  22. One thing is certain, Sohan is not at his best right now. He needs to be in good physical shape to perform well, because in terms of pure basketball skills, he is not as good as the others. The point guard position clearly demonstrated this two years ago, before his injury. As for Victor, he should play 30 minutes and no more, with some exceptions, to stay fresh, for example during possible finals. As for Harper, as we suspected, he is brilliant with the ball, but he has a problem with muscle tone. He certainly has a lot of fluidity in his game, but that takes energy. He needs to work on his physical conditioning to become more enduring and powerful in order to maintain his accuracy at the basket. This sets him apart from Castle, who held up for an entire season without faltering, even when the house was falling apart with Victor and Fox out. The coach finally understood, and rightly so, that Castle is the one who pitches the tent so that the others can have a roof over their heads and enjoy themselves, as Draymond said.

  23. The Spurs will probably win the second game against OKC, who will have less than 24 hours to recover and often play the same players, even if they preserves Chet an Hartenstein face Grizllies. The Spurs are starting to get to know each other better as a whole. Despite their very close victory in the NBA Cup against this team, they didn't play that well.
