They started faltering almost immediately after R.J. Barrett got injured. He is their most consistent player, who brings the toughness that has been missing.
Bobby needs to get fired. We overpay for IQ who cannot play point guard. Don’t want to address the center position. W e signed Ingram so we can tank or win. There is no clear direction. Are we tanking or trying to win?
I'll say it again. We don't have good players on this team. Grady is not the player that you guys think he is walkers also not the player that you guys think he is. We need better players surrounding bi also. Scottie and RJ we cannot have Grady and Walker on this team. Also, IQ is not the point guard of this team. We need a trade ASAP. I hope Bobby is not Masai and actually has the balls to pull some trades
Also, Darko is not the coach for this team. He does not have the balls to call out his best players when they're playing like crap
Great Pod! You folks are 180-181 late to the FO F’ed up roster construction. Now they did a very good Sandro signing. However many media of all levels saying the Ochai move makes sense and when was his trade value highest?
For the last 4-5 years we have not had 3 credible players with a C as part of their job title. When we go back to the chip year and even next year the 2 main Cs gave you good to very good production. Now they were getting long in the tooth so maybe you replace 1 then the other over the next 2 years. Instead both leave the team has been reeling ever since.
Vision 6’9” ish is still great but diversity of matchups matters too. Clearly the 76ers, Bucks and Warriors were 3 different styles of play you had to have overcome and for V 6’9” to work maybe you have 2 professional PGs and 1 6/9 guy who can play some at PG this is same for C. Sandro can be your 6/9 player that can give mins at C
Last there were several paths to grow your diversity of the team last 2 draft nights it is just malpractice to come into this year with 1.5 PGs and Cs.
Why not sit jack and get a center for 10day contact let the guy rest and be healthy. Waive temple and sign him as a assistant coach
I have always been a Bobby guy but I cant anymore … this is a luxury tax team that has lacked 3 pt shooting , lacked bigs , lacked PG that can create for NUMEROUS years. Every other team has all of what the raptors lack . For some reason this front office luvs to draft "nice guys " but sorry nice guys are soft …this team is full of nice guys and u can see it on the court. This is Bobby's team and his coach. Let's not forget this front office has been putting out therr that they want to trade RJ ….the only guy on the raps that can get to the rim at will…but this front office wants him out ..makes no sense , a home grown kid that's one of ur best offensive players. This front office is lost

I don't understand this team, these losses are so demoralizing
They need a back up C three years ago. They still need a back up C. Call up Sarr, go get Goga asap! Gonna have to trade low and send out Dick and OA and likely some draft capital (2nd rounders ideally). RJ and Jak need to get healthy, this is still a good team but coaching and effort need to be there, this team had an identity for maybe a month and looked like they had grit, now they are back to no confidence and no hustle.
When things go bad for the Raps, it seems to snowball uncontrollably.
Imo culture starts from top down. Need Bobby and Darko to set expectations and talk to guys. Like you guys said Masai was great at this. Not sure if it's in Bobby's DNA
