I thought the good news was “Kelly Ourbre returns tomorrow” lol 🤦🏾♂️. But I think he comes off the bench, which I’m not mad at. Because we all know PG isn’t playing every game so he’ll end up starting some games. But off the bench you’ll have;
Jared, Quentin, Kelly, Drummond. That’s actually an insane bench. Honorable mention Jabari Walker
Kelly Oubre gotta start I think, he has so much effort, and the lock down defense on the other teams best player, and throws up a 20 plus pt game every other night….we might have too much talent in this team. If Joel can get anywhere close to normal, esp on D, we might compete this year. The OKC game will be a good measuring stick
Anyone who has watched Maxey knows he could light up from year 1, but Doc kept him off the floor. I remember quite a few games where others guys would be out, and he takes over and beats some good team. Maxey is finally allowed to be the focal point of the offense, and our best player, which he definitely is now

When everyone’s healthy this is a scary scary team
Do I think they can become the greatest backcourt ever? Hell no. What have they actually won? What have they done against elite teams? Where are the real battles, the playoff wars, the moments under maximum pressure? They haven’t been tested by true postseason defenses or sustained playoff intensity yet.
For that conversation to even be real, VJ Edgecomb would have to hit his absolute ceiling and become a Top 10 player in the NBA at some point, and he and Maxey would need to win multiple championships. Honestly, they would probably have to go back to back just to stay in the discussion.
So the answer is no. They’ll be good. Maybe even very good. But the greatest backcourt ever? Nope. They’re not touching Steph and Klay, and they’re not touching Isiah and Dumars either.

– I wonder if the Sixers will trade Oubre to get under the tax but I like Oubre
– Eventually Sixers will sign Barlow & Walker to the 15 man roster after the trade deadline & after they get rid of Gordon
– Then Get 3 New 2-Way Contact Players
1. Replace Barlow's spot with MarJan Beauchamp
2. Replace Walker's spot with Jalen Bridges or Patrick Baldwin Jr but I like Bridges more for the Sixers
3. Waive Sallis & replace Sallis with Kobe Bufkin or TyTy Washington or Colby Jones or Tristen Newton or Zyon Pullin Josh Christopher but I like Bufkin or Washington or Newton the most

If VJ can start finishing around the rim and hitting floaters like Maxey… he'll be hard to stop.
Once he realizes the floater is better than going for the dunk everytime, his shot taking habits will improve too.
The sixers don’t even need to be fully healthy. Embiid doesn’t need to play. If the rest of the players are 80% healthy, this team can go far.
