Hugo is playing like 2nd season Marcus Smart. Anyone remember the jump Marcus had from rookie year to second? Hugo is doing that in his rookie year! I love his competitiveness
And everyone was hating on this draft pick. I admit, I didn't know who he was at the draft. But I watched every highlight I could find of this kid and I thought he had starter potential in the NBA. He won't hit Tatum levels, but he is going to be a very solid starter at some point. Just gotta stay out of foul trouble and he will be a defensive presence on any team.
I've been a Celtics fan since Larry Bird days Nate Archibald and Bill Walton but since then they haven't been on drafting a real true center and I kind of like backed up from the team even though they were still my team now enter Hugo Gonzalez now I'm happy I'm just still waiting on them to get a real true center
I am "O.G. Hooper Perry" and I wanna play with Hugo Gonzalez and Payton Pritchard and the Boston Celtics. I played pick-up basketball with Pritchard when he was at University of Oregon– very cool dude, always showed great sportsmanship. 12/23/25
