The last two years the Jazz were tanking, absolutely. I disagree that the Jazz are tanking this year. If they were tanking rather than just developing young players, they would have lost far more games and would not be in danger of losing their pick. They just aren't good enough to win. Locke pointed out some great stats today on Locked on Jazz. They are awful against the top teams and pretty good against the bottom teams. They are just the best of the bad teams right now.

I'd say let it happen. Ticket sales and natural market economy will control it. If a team tanks, they will lose money in ticket sales. But then gain it back if it works. But if it doesn't, it's on them. They will lose tons of money in ticket sales.

GS's problem is they need to revamp the offense.
