This is pretty unrealistic and I guess any team can feel like this, but the nuggets should have lost only two games this season, the warriors opener and the most recent rockets game. Expectations are high for this team. Obviously injuries play a huge factor but when you have the best player on the court with his sidekick playing at an all nba/all star level, those expectations remain.
We lost by one on the rd, missing 3 of our 5 starters. We shouldāve couldāve won, but we did good. I think we need a trade and look into free agents. These injuries are hurting us but even then weāre missing something. Iād move Braun and or cam Johnson. I like them both but Iād rather have pwat in either the sg or sf spot and pull another ag type trade. Love our bench, but need a back up pf as well.

At the beginning of the year, when cooper Flagg was labeled a "bust", I wonder if the nuggets had any chance to trade Jamal Murray for him. Remember Nico was still I charge at the time.
Why are we not using Deron Holmes?? Your telling me Soencer Jones and Zeke Naji are better than him ?

Adelman game plan had double teaming street clothes 20 feet from the basket..like he is Shai in mid-range or something.. expecting or "amazing"defensive rotations to take care of the rest???šššš

Jokic is in total control. He could make that last shot, and if this was a PO game, I am sure he would do that. He could also find Jamal, and if this was a PO game, I am sure it would be his second option in this case, but since it was a regular season game, he decided to give PWat chance to be a hero. I don't have a problem with that.

I feel like it's time to play Daron Holmes and bring him in slowly off the bench. Nuggets didn't even play Zeke today which I thought is a mistake. When going up against bigger teams like Dallas, Zeke's size and versatility would of helped at the PF spot. Instead, Adelman resorts to double center and small ball lineups with Bruce or Peyton at the 4 which is not their natural positions and compromises the defensive rotations and closeouts. I'm not a fan of either especially the latter. As a result, we got carved up by Cooper Flagg. With another injury to Cam Johnson, I think it's time to give Daron Holmes a shot and possibly extend the rotation even further. With so many injuries to our wings/forwards, all the more reasons to play more Pickett, Holmes (if you're not even willing to play Zeke), Strawther, or even bring in a guy from the G-league like Kessler Edwards. Nuggets also need size and athleticism around Jokic/Valanciunas, so a SF/PF like Kessler Edwards would be a perfect fit. With Cam being out, Bruce or Tim will slide to the starting lineup. That leaves the bench very vulnerable. The last thing you want to do is overexerting guys like Peyton Watson (who just came back from his own injury), Tim Hardaway, Jamal, Jokic, etc.

I'll say it again.. Denver Nuggets is the most unserious team in NBA. They allow opponents to go on runs knowing they can cover it easily. They keep losing games that they shouldn't. 5 stupid losses so far!! I've lost hope. We'll be out of the playoffs by 2nd Round.

P Wat was supposed to go straight at the rim or at least make few steps in that direction the moment he saw Mavs are collapsing the paint and double-teaming Jokic. Like what AG would do. Nuggets needed one or two points only, so Watson would have either a 15-16 footer, lay up or a foul. He has to learn from this experience.
