The Nuggets dropped a heart breaking loss last night to the Dallas Mavericks, but it pales in comparison to what they have lost on the injury front. Just the most recent of several CRUSHING injury blows this year.

If this injury really does become a major hindrance for Cam, meaning, if he’s out for the rest of the season, out for a longer span of time, or if he comes back at some point but is clearly negatively affected by the injury, then Jokic is the most cursed superstar in nba history. I guess NATO must have put some magical dust on those bombs, and with Bill Clinton’s consent, cursed the people of Serbia. LMAO! That’s the only explanation that I can think of for Jokics AWFUL luck regarding injures to teammates over the last 6 years. Imagine if Scottie Pippen were injured multiple times during the 90’s, or if Shaq or Kobe were injured during the early 2000’s, that’s the equivalent of what Jokic has dealt with. He would have at least 2 more titles right now if it wasn’t for injuries.

Jokic needed to put that ball up at the end of the game. They only needed two points. It made absolutely zero sense to pass the ball out to the arch. I don’t care if he was double teamed. You’re the best player on the floor. Put the ball up. I don’t know what he was thinking.

Such a clickbait title. Yes, loosing starter #3 hurts, but I think TH Jr. will just do fine in that spot. There is nothing bad to say about Payton missing that shot, he has a really high % from there, missing hurts, sure, but it was the right play from both Jokic and Watson. Nothing to be done about that. Spencer Jones has done a decent job growing into a replacement PF so long as AG is hurt, Watson replaces CB just fine, and I am sure we can take on another injury. I think Denver can hold just fine until All-Star, and by then I hope AG and CB will be back. What happens after that is more interesting, but time will tell.

They aren't screwed. Cam's MRI was clean, he just has bone bruise. CB and AG will be back soon and the Nuggs will be fine. As long as they are healthy in the playoffs, this team is likely winning it all. None of these injuries are serious. They about to get healthy at the perfect time.
I like this kid, together with Wemby maybe they bring a new flair generation of basketball back to the NBA, that would be nice compared to todays BS way of bball of the faces of the nba 🙂
