The San Antonio Spurs OWN the Oklahoma City Thunder

The San Antonio Spurs OWN the Oklahoma City Thunder

The Spurs beat the Thunder for the second time in a week and a half. The Thunder are 26-2 against the entire NBA and now 0-2 against San Antonio.

  1. Never clicked faster.

Finally skap making spurs content. It took slapping the heck out of okc though. Lol

  2. out of context but the amount of shoving offensive fouls and carries is disgusting.. sorry but as an international fan i really cant take nba seriously at this point.. its worst than and 1 and harlem globetrotters..

  3. OK, SKAP you just posted in one of your videos earlier that Cam Johnson was out for the season and the Nuggets who by the way look like the best team in the NBA when they’re playing good he’s only out for like a game or two he didn’t hurt anything. He just basically got a bruise on his leg lol you should not say things like that. If you don’t know what his injury was Denver is going to smoke. OK see if they play them in the playoffs. I don’t even think OKC’s gonna finish with the best record when Denver gets Gordon Brown back they’re gonna catch them. San Antonio is not gonna finish the second best record. They’re just good at beating them.

  4. My one friend is huge OKC fan, he went from "OKC gonna smash the record for most wins in a season"
    To
"I hope OKC doesn't play Spurs in playoffs" 😂

  5. Early season accomplishments are noise. Look at the Cavaliers, they qualified for the playoffs in February. Teams can cruise through the season, but that's a double edged sword. You get good seeding ,but you've become predictable and your roster has rarely had to play through adversity. That's why the 2001 Lakers should be the measuring stick for so called "legendary" teams.

  6. When wemby was out for 12 games. Castle was out for around 8 games and harper around 6 games during that span.

Fox carried us during that span. Averaging around 29 8 8.

I need apology letters to those saying he's not a max player. Now his numbers are down cause the spurs are playing ethical basketball. No one guy hunting for their numbers. We had 7 different leading scorer in the past 7 wins, and that has been the trend all season.

  7. Slap you just said it again Cam Johnson is not hurt. He has a bruised knee. He’s only gonna be out a couple games. Why do you keep saying he’s out for the season?

  8. Now you see that it's not a fluke. OKC can be beaten because they weren't that dominant in the playoffs last year. Denver went 7 and so did Indiana, and Denver improved as well as OKC (even though Denver is an infirmary right now)

  9. No disrespect to OKC, but their early surge is indicative of how the other teams are still feeling their way, while their team is all set. Teams will adjust. The Pacers and the Nuggets in last year's playoffs proved they were beatable, they won't be able to dominate a team four games in succession. Still may win every series they're in, but they're not a colossus.
Now, if Victor can really learn to dominate the post as he should, it's a wrap for everyone else in the league.

  10. What's crazy is the Thunder and Spurs will meet three more times including tomorrow. That's five times this year. This is like the old days when division rivals would meet five or six times ala Bulls vs. Pistons or Cavs in the late 80s. There were less teams back then that division rivals met more times.

Skip Bayless is confused. Didn't he claim being a Spurs fan all those years since Iceman? Now he's an OKC fan? What team do you really root for, Skip? What does your heart tell you? What happened to "Go, Spurs, go?" Or how that Ray Allen shot broke your heart?

I think OKC and SA will go 7 games and SA seems ahead of schedule by at least a year. OKC have no answer for Wemby. SA beat OKC by 2 when Wemby barely played. When he only plays 23 minutes again coming off the bench, OKC still got annihilated thanks to Keldon, Barnes, Castle, and Vassell combining for 86. Wemby only had 12 points.

The biggest weakness to the Thunder is when they're cold from three, they can stay very cold. They're not this amazing 3-pt shooting team like the Warriors back in the day. And if their opponent is hitting their threes and playing very comparable defense against them, OKC has a hard time. Then if FTA is comparable and not lopsided favoring OKC, they will have a rough time.

If OKC takes out San Antonio this season, I say SA takes them out next season and several more years after that. San Antonio is OKC's successor the way it went from Philly to Boston to Detroit to Chicago back in the 80s and 90s. Or how Lakers and Spurs ruled the West from 1999-2010 with San Antonio winning the West again in 2013 and 2014.

San Antonio is legit, folks. Some of us thought OKC wasn't legit last year as that core was only in their second playoff appearance together. But they went all the way. We can't underestimate San Antonio this time around. We just need Wemby to stay healthy as he always got injured towards the end of his first two seasons.

    1. Oklahoma City Thunder
    2. New York Knicks
    3. San Antonio Spurs
    4. Denver Nuggets
    5. Houston Rockets

  11. I noticed that they didn't play hard, physical defense on FTA, but they did against everyone else. He scored a lot, but he also missed a lot, with only 5 FTA. So just let the flooper flop; take away his main weapon, and he is completely lost.

  12. Longest streak of the season where SGA isn't getting double digit FTA and OKC in total only had 7 last night.
