1:30 I still think it's very valid that the Spurs could use an elite playmaker, but are there really any guys like that that they could have traded for instead of Fox? Especially if we are talking in terms of star or close to star level player, Trae Young and Lamelo are the only guys I could come up with, LaMelo being a stretch at that. Spurs clearly didn't want anything to do with either of them for seriousness/lack of defense reasons. I think they're just gonna try to develop Harper into an elite playmaker as his main skill. The other night he had like 5 points but 10 assists and not many turnovers

No, WE ARE NOT. Spurs are a young team. They need a run in the playoffs. Maybe next season they are a contender.
As soon as I watch the Thunder finally win a chip and looking like a potential dynasty, both Wemby and Jokicās franchise decide to lock the fuck in.
I still think we are the best team in the league by a bit, but we will see at least one of those teams in the playoffs and thatās terrifying, even if I think we are still overall better than both.

My goal for Jeremy Sochan was similar to Keldon Johnson. Hustle guy with decent spot up shooting. Im glad one of them became good but I really wish it was Sochan since he is younger.

I'm a Spurs fan since 2003. I was never hyped by Jeremy Sochan. I'd keep Keldon, Vassell, Champagnie over Sochan. I'd still like to be proven wrong, but 4 years in, not looking good.
As a spurs fan, native San Antonioan, whether or not we even get passed the first or second round, Iām just glad we have gotten some serious progression and development and itās showing on the court and in the standings. 2 years ago we we hot fucking garbage and it sucked because we had a raw generational talent. We just didnāt have the talent to compete at all. Now that we are a solidified play off team, have gotten absolutely blessed in the draft, and made the right moves around the edges we build up from here and prove ourselves this year in the playoffs. I do not expect to win the chip but I do want us to give a powerhouse team a run for their money or even beat them. If we get out of the first round this year is a huge success. If we beat a Denver team and give Okc a good 6-7 games Iām cool with that or give a good shot at the rockets or nuggets then we are on the right track. We do need that playoff experience and can absolutely get better around the edges but Iām just glad we are here today and in this position currently. We had a true chance when we had kawhi to give the warriors a run for their money and we all know how that ended. We are finally passed that and a new day has begun here in the Alamo city, the pressure is building and Iām just gonna enjoy this ride for what it brings good or bad and hopefully one day we can be champs again.
