I said the same too. He's the current guy you build around.
Giddey is so goddamn good that we are fortunate to have him. Like seriously, nobody we've had since Jimmy looked like "Ok, we might be able to give this cat the keys." Zach was TALENTED, but he wasn't a #1. Lauri was good and eventually became an all-star, but he can't lead a team.
I feel like Giddey can lead the team and explode as a better player next year which is incredible to say.
