As soon as he touched him, it was a foul. Not only did he hit Spider’s left arm on the swipe [literally NOT all ball], Kolek put his left hand on Donavan when he caught him before the swipe. Might have been light, but optics.
Mitchell has a tendency of slowing down to dunk. He almost always gets caught, you would think this many years in the league he would adjust. He looked so stupid on this play and acting like he got hit is wild.
Yeahhh, as a 36 year lifelong Cavs fan… That was all ball!! However, it was also a foul. If he just didn't put his left hand on Mitchell's shoulder first, then it would have been a super clean play with no foul! However, because he did put his left hand on Mitchell's shoulder first and because of how soft the league has changed into over the last however many years, yeahh.. Unfortunately thats definitely a foul!! Now, i DO NOT agree with it being a foul because it's just so soft and pathetic of what they consider to be a foul today, like you can't even brush the loosest part of someones jersey with the tip of your fingernail anymore without being called for a foul!! But, according to that soft 🍑 pathetic rule book, then yeahh.. This is absolutely a foul!!
