  1. Dylan Harper is a f’ing beast at getting to the rim. He looks very experienced. People say that Harper needs a jumper, but man he looks SMOOTH going to rim.

  2. As a spurs fan, Wemby is everything for us. Some people expect him to be the GOAT. He has HIGH expectations. And thus far, he’s slowly doing things that are ‘goat’ like. Apart from being the best defender in the league by year 2 and arguably one day will be the greatest rim protector this game has ever seen. OKC Thunder are LEGIT monsters. They were literally dog walking the league. It got to a point where it became news if Shai played the 4th or not. Some teams were happy with themselves if Shai played in the 4th. However, who could potentially stop one of the greatest regular season teams 16 game winning streak (yes potentially one of the greatest thus far). If any player could snap it and take down the Goliath, it’d have to be a goat like player. Wemby and the Spurs did it not once, not twice but 3 times. That was not a fluke. That was not luck. You might see Wemby’s box score and think he’s not as effective as he was in the start of the season. He’s on minutes restriction but I’ll tell y’all something. Once Wemby is on the floor, his presence alone changes how OKC plays and how the spurs defend. OKC don’t drive in. They play in the half court and that’s their weakness. Only the Spurs can force them to play like this because Wemby is sitting under the rim. OKC start jacking up 3s. They shot 25% last game. Our guards are athletic, hounds on defence and most importantly, they’re big. Once Wemby is on the floor, the guards and the wings begin hunting for steals and turnovers because they know if they get past them, Wemby will spike their shot into the stands. Wemby is the ONLY player in league history to have defensive gravity. Steph Curry has offensive gravity. Wemby has fewer blocks against OKC because they turn around and run after seeing him under the rim. That itself is a blocked shot. Spurs can make a trade to get solid wing during the trade deadline because Sochan is useless now. With Barnes and a good wing, Fox and Castle as the starting guards and Wemby at the 5 with Harper, Vassel, KJ and Kornet coming off the bench would be destructive.

  3. It is kind of insane how CP3 had a role in the development of both of these teams. The Spurs are young but you can see the discipline and aggression in everything they do.

  4. I could see them trading for Corey Kispert. Bro needs out of Washington and has been a great shooter his whole career. Bro is averaging 40% from 3 this year and is getting limited playing time only cause Washington decided to go get 2 ball demanding vets and the young guys need them touches too. Also I'm sure they could make an offer for Luke Kennard or Grayson Allen. Honestly OKC could get just about any player they wanted 😂😭

  5. Why does nobody ever talk about how easy the thunder’s schedule has been, literally easiest schedule for the first half of the season

  6. As an okc fan, as much as it pisses me off listening to wemby say dumb shit like “ethical basketball” when he had the most fta’s in the game, at least they just went out and did their job. Everyone else is just pissing and moaning about the thunder and not doing anything about it. Just look at the wolves. We have won 5/7 games against them, and all they do is cry when they lose and gloat when they win

  7. All i have to say is the NBA better 🙏 that the Spurs find away to pay all these dudes. If you listen to Wemby's interviews he cares about winning and being the best. He makes so much money outside. He could be just like Brady and Duncan and take less money to keep his team together and the Spurs know how and have been there done that.

  8. I do think they will still beat the recored i only think they lossing cuz j dubs back. I dont see them losing a game till all star even tho i dont know the schedule

  9. For the All-Star Superman connection, you could maybe say that the Spurs are the solar radiation that’s slowly killing Superman that that’ll eventually culminate in his last confrontation with Solaris? (the western conference finals supposedly) I don’t know it’s a weird comic to pull a reference for basketball from lol

  10. The spurs are deep and very young, just like OKC.

They also play the team game soo well but that’s expected lol, they are the Spurs. But hey, it works.

  11. This whole thing for the Spurs is contingent on health. Just like it is the Thunder. If that bug hits the narrative shifts. OKC winning as much as they did this year already with the 2nd most lost man games was impressive. I don't see that happening with the Spurs as good as they are now.

  12. It’s simple. The spurs matchup well. Their guards are more athletic bigger than their guards. Wemby is the greatest defender of our generation

  13. Idk man i keep seeing people say the spurs are on the way to being contenders but they’re second in the west with a record not too far from the thunder and they’ve now shown they are better than last years champions. I think it’s time they’re taken serious

  14. people always bring up the 40 ball from dub… that was not some all star level shine. it was catch and shoot, cuts to the basket, transition, and free throws. 8 of those points were like yea hes a star. hes not like that. hes not that type of player

  15. 7:13 based on game score only, and two of them are technical because SGA still had monster/comparable games

    25OCT @ ATL Chet 30.1/SGA 27.2
    27OCT @DAL Chet15.9/SGA 15.4
    7NOV @SAC iHart35.6/SGA 24.1

And since you mentioned Jokic and the Nuggets:

    23OCT @GS Gordon 44.2/Murray 22.9/ Jokic 17.5
    19NOV @NO Watson 26.2/Jokic 20.9
    28NOV vsSAS Murray 31.4/Johnson 22.6/Jokic 22.2
    3DEC @IND Murray 46.3/Jokic 23.5
    20DEC vsHOU Brown14.6/Murray 14.2/Jokic 13.6

I didn't check all the stat lines, so take the close Game Scores with a few grains of salt. Game Score values efficiency. In the Houston Game, Brown put up 12/12/1 on 5/8 shooting whereas Jokic put up 25/7/5 on 9/20 with 5 turnovers. If I looked at those stat lines objectively, I'd probably still say Jokic had the better game.

But where the numbers are 10+ apart, it's a lot easier to say "yeah that player outplayed the star"

  16. Even as a Canadian I js can’t support the way Dort plays ngl, it’s reckless and not mad if someone says dirty
