  1. Spurs are like Okc they can defend they have players who can score and are scrappy defensively. Then they have a 7,5 monster ๐Ÿ˜‚

  2. Wemby has zero problem coming off the bench. Crazy he could realistically win MIP, DPOY and 6th man of the year ๐Ÿ˜‚

  3. Not exactly ESPNโ€™s top talent working day after Xmas..besides diabetic Perkโ€ฆwho are these people?

  4. Dirty Dort tried to injure wemby with a leg kick, this isnโ€™t the UFC. No whistle though, Silver needs to go.

  5. Nike did this on purpose imo, resellers selling at ridiculous prices were never gonna last. It was strategic to weed them out.

  6. As a Spurs fan since 1995, Im happy the Spurs won 3 games against the Thunder but I wont get too excited until we win another championship. The Thunder is also not playing with full intensity and is scouting the Spurs in my opinion. Who knows maybe the NBA is also rigging the games to keep the baskteball fans interested and talk about something. All that being said, Im very happy that the Spurs are a contender once again. Growth Spurt Growth โค

  7. Castle=Most Improved….Wemby=MVP and DPOY…Keldon Johnson=6th Man of the Year….Dylan "Thrillin" Harper =ROY…I have been a Spur's fan since 1974, when I lived in Tripoli, Libya and read about them in Sports Illustrated…this is the most exciting squad since Timmy hit town in 1997…GO, SPURS, GO!!!!! ๐Ÿ˜ƒ๐Ÿ˜ƒ๐Ÿ˜ƒ๐Ÿ˜ƒ

  8. Spurs are young and athletic and better shooting team then Okc. Everybodys talking about Wemby, but who impressed me even more was Fox, he outplayed raining MVP by a mile. Additionally, ever since NBA cup semifinals, it seems that ref criteria finally balanced as it should and SGA doesnt have protection of the polar bear. I guess there was to much presure on the league regarding officiating when Okc is playing. Finally, Okc current result, beside the fact that they are an amazing team, also has something to do with their schedule in their first 3 months. Beside several chalenging oponents (Spurs, wolves, wariors) they mostly played with temas bellow 500. I believe that from now on they will have an occasional loss, maybe 1 in 10 days.

  9. As long as the spurs don't do anything stupid….they'll be back to dynasty level very soon

  10. I think Wemby could become the best NBA player of all time with that insane height and smarts. The real question is about his durability over time. The taller you get, the more stress is on your joints and basketball is MURDER on ankles, knees and shoulders.

  11. So glad okc is finally getting on the other end of the stick , even tho theyโ€™re likely the favorites to go back to the finals again in 2026, but Lu dort is a dirty player for real

  12. The issue is poor shooting and not being able to get shots in the lane. They had lots of wide open 3s they missed. On the defensive end, they collapsed the paint, leaving the corners open. Spurs didn't miss a lot of those. That's literally the difference

  13. As long as he doesnt do the Greg Oden thing!! Gotta put on more muscle like Capela did!! Strengthen them knees kid!!

  14. In a couple years he will be hurt all the time. Thatโ€™s what happens to the really tall players all the time

  15. Spurs have not made the playoffs since they traded Kawhi to Toronto. Wemby has been on a minutes restriction in each Spurs win over OKC. I donโ€™t think anyone wants to face a healthy Wemby in the playoffs. Wemby thinks he owes his teammates and Spurs fans a championship after falling short in the NBA cup where he was on a minutes restriction and learned his grandmother who raised him died on the morning of the NBA Cup game.

  16. is wemby the future? duh?! what irks me is the league is pushing flagg down our throats so hard. its so obvious they desperate for him to be their guy. wemby should be in flaggs place. noone saying flagg not good. its just hard to watch ppl i respected in the game glaze flagg when wemby the big ticket. they desperate for a great white american hope.

  17. Perk suddenly shifted his tone. Last month hes wondering who can defeat OKC and they can break GSWโ€™s win record, what happened, lil bro? Now youโ€™re just stating the obvious and acting like you expected this. Also, the woman here says sheโ€™s still taking OKC in a playoff series vs Spurs, really?? This is an ESPN analyst now??!! After losing three straight? Not by single digits or late comebacks, theyโ€™ve been dominated almost the entire second half! Bring back the real analyst who could actually give us great insights๐Ÿคฆโ€โ™‚

  18. Having D. Fox has improved the passing and the defense. Everyone is playing their role plus they have depth.

  19. I've never seen a team win a championship last season after winning 68 games. Then starts 24-1 with an all-time highest point differential. They were on pace for 79-3. Then they get thoroughly beaten to a pulp by one team twice in 3 days.

Imagine the '96 Bulls start great only to get destroyed by the Pacers. Now those Pacers who play in the same division did defeat those '96 Bulls twice that season. They were the only team to defeat the Bulls twice in the regular season although if you include playoffs, Sonics beat them thrice and Knicks beat them twice.

When the Bulls lost to Indy twice, they were not beatdowns. They only lost by 6 pts and 1 pt. Their worst defeat in the regular season happened against the Knicks when they lost by 32 at MSG. Three of their 10 defeats, they lost by a single point including to the Pacers at home in the second to the last game that could've had them going 73-9.

OKC were looking like the greatest team of all-time. Now they look like Superman in Batman v Superman screaming Martha! OKC looks shook. And I'm not sure they can mentally recover from it completely. They will probably end up losing quite a few more and not break 70 because San Antonio is living rent-free in their heads.

Thank you, Kawhi Leonard, for your poor decisions. You now created two powerhouses in OKC and SA simply because you wanted to go home to LA and wanted Paul George by your side. While the Clippers went back to irrelevance and will be stuck there for a very long time.
