The Curious Case of Kawhi Leonard

The Curious Case of Kawhi Leonard

He’s a transcendent two-way talent. He owns one of the greatest regular-season records in NBA history, with a postseason resumé that’s the stuff of legend. He’s also an injury-prone, mysterious superstar who finds himself in the spotlight of scandal. He’s as quiet as they come, yet equally – perhaps unintentionally – hilarious.

This is the story behind… Kawhi Leonard.

  1. Kawhi knew he would’ve gone to back2back finals if he stayed one more year in Toronto. You could tell by that look on his face on the bench in game 7 against Denver in the bubble. I’ve never seen him look that pi$$ed off.

  2. It's sad that he'll also mainly be remembered as the godfather of load management, who was severely misled by his selfish uncle Dennis.

  3. As a raps fan. Forever grateful to Kawhi. Dude brought us a chip and will always get love here. With that being said I'm so glad he left and would absolutely not want him back after everything with the clippers. I think it all worked out for the best

  4. Being from Toronto I’ll forever be grateful for his 2018-19 campaign after years of good regular seasons followed by getting cooked in the playoffs. Tho I have to say his rep has definitely soured with me due to the whole Pablo Torre aspiration scandal and his Clippers time pretty much being a failure, his career post 2020 is like nothing except unintentionally helping OKC build a true contender. Kawhi went from being a Tim Duncan type chill introverted guy to this shady money hungry dude or at least someone who doesn’t mind those types of people in his inner circle, also funny coincidence he played 68 games in 2024 aka a contract year. When I found out uncle Dennis asked for partial ownership of the Raptors and Toronto Maple Leafs in order for Kawhi to stay I was like damn maybe all his injury struggles with the Clippers is just a weird form of karma 😭🤣💀

  5. Why did they leave out Kawhi winning two time defensive player of the year, or how he won an all star mvp fresh off the Toronto championship run to win the first Kobe Bryant all star mvp award. Respect the accolades 🏆🏆🏀🏀🎖️ (2x Finals MVP, 2x Defensive Player of the Year, 2018 All Star MVP)

  6. Can you imagine this clowns level of “load management” if he played pro football. What an absolute joke of a “professional” this guy is.
