10 NBA Christmas Reactions: Spurs beat Thunder, Jokic masterful, Lakers embarrassing, Warriors back

Jason gives 10 reactions to the 10 teams playing on NBA Christmas Day. He breaks down Victor Wembanyama and the San Antonio Spurs being the NBA’s best right now with another win over Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and the Oklahoma City Thunder, Nikola Jokic leading an incredible Denver Nuggets win over Anthony Edwards and the Minnesota Timberwolves, Steph Curry and the Golden State Warriors finding their footing with a win over Cooper Flagg and the Dallas Mavericks, Kevin Durant leading the Houston Rockets to a win over Luka Doncic, LeBron James and the pathetic Los Angeles Lakers, Jalen Brunson leading the New York Knicks to a win over Donovan Mitchell and the Cleveland Cavaliers.

  1. I see that spurs are hot rn but Denver is literally missing 3 of their starters and have still beaten the wolves who are the 4th seed. I feel like with a healthy roster, Denver, OKC, spurs and maybe Houston are all vying for that NBA finals appearance. Should be an exciting year!

  2. Luka can’t win without a whistle. If the game isn’t getting stopped every three possessions they get ran off the court. Luka might be skinnier but he still looks outta shape.

  3. Luka Doncic just came back from injury put some context! Lebron James was a -33 in plus minus. He’s the MAIN ISSUE of ALL OF THE LOSING! They were losing plenty without Luka and who was playing? Lebron!! Put the blame EXACTLY WHEREon IT NEEDS TO BE!

AH YES ITS ABOUT TIME WE SAY THE LAKERS NEED MORE TRADES! LOL it’s that time of year folks! How many people said their roster sucked to start the season? They got Ayton remember? But of course let’s blame the role players! Bottom line the Lakers were playing great with Luka and Austin Reeves and have been trash since Lebron James returned. Let’s call it what it is!

  4. There's too many people gassing up the Spurs. Yes, they are clearly better than OKC and it's not close. But let's get real — OKC is a paper tiger this season and if the Spurs didnt expose them it was a matter of time before Denver or Houston did. OKC has a poor offense and their defense is only good against sloppy turnover prone teams. Against good teams, they are very average. OKC finishes no better than 5th in the West this season and at the end of the year everybody is going to look at the Spurs winning 5 against OKC as "meh… OKC just wasnt that great this year."

Spurs need to quit celebrating over OKC and start worrying about Denver and Houston, because THEY are the real threats — not OKC

  5. I felt bad for the nuggets they got gaslit into trading Michael porter and getting fleeced for a draft pick all because OKC was allowed to foul everyone in the last two playoffs. If the game is called fairly the thunder and shai aren’t as daunting. The spurs are so physically impressive and deep roster wise that they break okc regardless of calls so far. Okc really might need Dybantsa and a star like development from Mitchell to even come close to making a dynasty.

  6. Pwat is an absolute monsterous defender on 95% of the league. I've watched him completely take guys like Pascal, Kawhi, KD, etc out of games. When ant's shot is falling, Pwat has NOTHING for him. His combination of speed, strength AND accuracy is just too much

  7. You are Lakers fan, call the spade, spade. LeBron is the problem and you know it. They were much better team without LeBron .

  8. Stop it moron. Denver vs Dallas , Cooper is taking advantage of short Nuggets roster, no athletic player to defend him. He is really good player but , again, you are misleading your base.

  9. As good as the spurs are I think okc is also over rated and would of got exposed by other teams if spurs didn’t

  10. Lakers lose. "That's on Luka as the top guy." Lakers before Luka "LeBron doesn't have enough help 😮"

  11. Thank god for spurs. Like 90's knicks and late 80s pistons, okc is just cheating the system and it is so obvious

  12. Kinda difficult to build a good roster with 2 max players that don't play defense without hampering yourself for the future 🤷🏻

  13. Very much had Spurs as the 3rd or 4th best team in the West heading into the season. Thought OKC and Denver were solidly better. Happy with how the team has played and the development of Mitch Johnson and the young guys.

  14. Jokic was also a + defender the entire night btw but people will genuinely try arguing shai is better/equal. Just laughable

  15. Hey right on about the nfl! Its my number 1 sport but I love nba and honestly the nfl has been pretty bad for a couple years and their Christmas games that they put on all the random platforms instead of TV has made it hard to watch and makes a lot of people feel like "who cares, lets watch the nuggets and Timberwolves have an all timer"

  16. Hold on… I’m not even a lakers fan but… we mad at Rob because the star ain’t playing well and the second option got injured? It’s also Rob’s fault that LeBron isn’t giving effort?

  17. The Knicks are the best team. I don't care about their record or their team stats. They beat teams in more ways than any team

  18. thanks man for being one of the few commentators to give full credit to the spurs. all these other ppl be just coping like OKC just had a bad shooting night, okc didn’t care about these games anyway. These would be fine coming from OKC fans but from commentators, just infuriating

  19. 35:20 yeah good luck with that Lakers fans lol as mong as Jeannie Buss is still in that organisation so will Pelinka and all their incompetent team who made a shit hole out of the biggets franchise in the NBA
