Perkins is a legend in his own mind… and no one else's. For his size, he averaged an abysmal 5 total rebounds per game in his BEST season, averages 2.5ppg, 0.3 blocks per game, and would end up on the injury reserve if someone sneezed near him. Yet, he somehow thinks he had a productive NBA career and thinks said career has earned him the right to have an opinion of authority on players, teams, their development, and the moves these teams need to make. Yesterday before the game, he said he'd choose SGA OVER Wemby as a franchise player. Injuries was not the reason he chose SGA over Wemby, either. I love SGA, he's a hell of a player, but Wemby is a once-in-a-lifetime calibur player. Bottom line, Kendrick needs to shut his ass up, humble himself and recognize that he's NO Shaq. Hell, he's not even as good as Kwame Brown was… certainly not half the athlete. So again, KP, SHUTCHOBISHAZZUPBISH!!!!

Not a rivalry. Rivalries mean each team wins sometimes. This is a boxer and punching bag relationship.
When you beat the “best team in the NBA” three times in a row, they are not the best team in the NBA.
Having Wemby come off the bench is kind of scary. Even when he returns to the starting lineup, whoever he replaces is going to be a solid 6th man. Then there's Harper as another solid 6th man. And Keldon Johnson has that dog in him, so he's going to be instant energy. Not take over the game energy, but he's going to heat things up. This team has a bright future if they don't bungle front office moves. And it's San Antonio, so don't count on that happening.
