Tyler Koleck is the second coming of Linsanity. In his recent breakout he either leads or is in the lead of plus-minus effectiveness. In today's game he was +24 in 24 minutes and plus 11 over Clarkson who was in second place of plus-minus. Captain Clutch, the heart of the team, was in comparison -17 in 39 minutes.
They struggled with a mediocre Cavs team after losing to Minn. and Philly. I'm not convinced they are an NBA finals team. Maybe, because this is the weakest East division in my lifetime. But the Knicks are not a championship quality team. Their defense is still weak. Teams can store on them. They still have the same defensive problems. I can't get excited about a comeback win against a team a little over .500. Their schedule has been very weak.
It's still early in the season but if you're a Knicks fan you gotta be feeling good about what you're seeing right now.

Good win and Kolek was great and this is coming from someone who isn’t a Kolek fan. Mitch was Mitch showing why he’s so important to the team. Clarkson over the last few games looks a lot more comfortable and he’s getting in his bag. OG was surprisingly quiet, but a winner is a win, and it was a good win.
