Let's not forget. Spurs lost about 3 games by 5pts or less missing starters, key players. Also lost 3 other games by 12pts or less missing starters and running the 3rd unit that hasn't seen the floor in a while. So really how good are they?
Denver's defense is horrible and Wemby is the best defender Jokic has faced in his career, Minnie has a lot a flaws, they lack ball handling and there defense is trash when Gobert isn't on the court, the Spurs are deeper and have less flaws then almost any team in the league. OKC, Spurs and Knicks are the first tier in the NBA, everybody else has something to adress.

The Ringer's top 25 came out today, they included Jalen Williams, Jalen Johnson, etc., and Fox isn't on the list… hahaha. It's unbelievable. These people don't watch basketball. Fox is one of the best midrange players in the entire league, he's the fastest point guard in the league, and they're putting players like Jalen Williams and Jalen Johnson ahead of him. HAHAHA… Rich Paul and Fox made the best decision of his career: sending him to San Antonio to play with Wemby.

We predicted all three wins. OKC can't do much more, whereas the Spurs can. You don't really have Harper or Victor in the mix yet. They're not at their best yet. It's only their fourth or fifth game together. They're not gelled yet. You have four players who are exceptional, three of whom are just starting out: Victor, Harper, and Castle. When they're healthy, they're not just basketball players, they're game thinkers. Castle is a distributor and has been very good since he was very young, on both sides of the court. Harper is a magician, good on both sides of the court, it's like he plays without the constraint of the ball, and Victor is like having an extra player or half-player on the court. Victor just needs to learn to limit his playing time to around 30 minutes, except in exceptional circumstances or in the finals, if necessary. The only problem that may arise is fatigue, so we need to monitor rest and playing time, especially for Victor, who has a big frame.

Fox has the talent to be a top 15 player in the NBA. But he’s inconsistent compared to those top 10 top 15 type players. I think he should be an all star this year. You have to reward winning.

I think the only way to beat the Spurs is to shoot the lights out. The Suns did it. Curry did it. Other than that, I don't see a way to beat the Spurs in a 7 game series. Shooting the lights out is not sustainable in the playoffs. Maybe 1 or 2, maybe even 3 games. But 4? Nah. Wemby's defensive presence is too much to handle. Limiting him offensively is only helpful if you can stop the gaurds and shoot the lights out yourself. GSG

Nobody is saying that the Spurs are the best team in the NBA, but you just know if it had been Denver beating OKC three times in a row like this this conversation would have been completely different.
