Now the NY Knicks have two true good PGs (Jalen Brunson & Tyler Kolek). They made a big difference to the Knicks.
The Knicks have four SGs, they are Deuce, Clarkson, Landry, & Hart.
The NY Knicks Guards squad are "SET".
The NY Knicks Guards and Forwards squads are "SET". But the Center squad needs to be fixed by replacing Yabusele and get another backup Center soon.
To me the odd man out is clearly Shamet. If Clarkson can hit 3s in the mid-30s and keep hustling on D, he entirely negates what Shamet does plus brings more rim pressure, shot creation and combo guard playmaking.
Plus it’s going to be some time before Shamet is back. Maybe a trade will reshape things.
Another weird dilemma is that Kolek plays maybe even better when out there with Brunson.. but maybe that can be replicated alongside another combo guard like Deuce or JC
