Atlanta gets: AD, D-Lo, Exum
Dallas gets: KP, Newell or Zach R, Pelicans 2026 pick and the Bucks 2027 pick swap.
If the Hawks don’t like it, they don’t get AD.
I would be okay with sending AD to the Hawks and getting crap in return, as long as we get the Hawks' pick unprotected (their Pelicans one) as the best part of the package. I'm curious to know what y'all think?

Hawks may be trying to get off Trae Young, he's kinda small but he's allegedly a good play making guard, i haven't really seen it myself yet.
AD to the Hawks for the expiring contracts of Porzingas and Kennard, Flagg’s old running buddy Asa Newell and the latter Hawks first round pick this year which will likely be around 20. We get under the second apron next year, free up room to make moves in free agency too. Asa Newell is an interesting young player. And the Hawks pick around 20 gets you something like Isaiah Evans. I would do that deal.
Chicago has the best pieces for AD and they have draft picks. White Nicholi V and 2 1st round picks

I would trade AD to the warriors for Kuminga, green and a first in 2030 if we could bring in a third team to take green for expiring contracts and a pick (1st, 2nd or whatever we could get).
I disagree with slightly biased on Kuminga. He’s a very talented player who was miscast in Golden State and who has been dealing with a toxic situation for a couple years. Put Kuminga on a team with Kyrie and Flagg and we can play to Kuminga’s strengths.

I’m fine with winning or tanking but here are two more reasons we should be cautious with trading AD. Coop loves playing and learning from AD. If we trade AD, Klay and maybe even Kyrie could requests trades. Do you want a pissed off Kyrie???

What’s the benefit for trading ad? do you need capspace around a young cooper? AD is a great center to pair with coop and you don’t have a pick next year anyway so you want to compete. and Lively and AD can share streetclothes
I would also trade AD to the Spurs for Vessell, Barnes, Sochan and their two second round picks this year. The centerpiece of this is Devin Vessell.
This isn’t an even deal in terms of talent but our roster gets younger and more balanced and Vessell is on a very manageable contract. This makes us a better team over the next 3-4 years and calibrates us more to Flagg.
The Bulls are not an option because they suck. The Pistons are not an option because what they really need are floor spacers and play makers and AD at his best doesn’t solve those problems. And the Raptors are not an option because they don’t have any expiring contracts to offer, don’t have young players we want.
Reisachier is not the answer. We need play makers and floor spacers.
