Was at this game and the Kings had a 2nd defender charge at Coop in the 1st half every time he got the ball. He only had 2 points in the 1st half and the Mavs offense struggled, they were down by 15 at halftime. Kidd had Coop start the 2nd half at the point and he went off in the 3rd Q with 15 points as the deficit dropped to 3 points with a few minutes left in the 3rd. It seemed like the 2nd half plan was for Coop to do whatever he wanted with the ball and it worked. Unfortunately, the Kings’ lead ballooned to 18 shortly after Coop went to the bench near the end of the 3rd. The Mavs got the deficit down to 4 after Coop returned to the game in the 4th before losing by 6.
Coop was the best player on the court in this game. The rest of the Mavs? Not so much
1:23 was filthy, especially for a dude his stature
This kids got game & too bad with the Veteran type stats like this it’s a shame he has to celebrate afterwards with just a ROOT BEER 🍺
