Great lesson, do not rely on last shot, it sometimes works, sometimes doesnāt. Game was lousy overall, so luck vanished. Nikola and Peyton did not do anything wrong to be discussed about, it is what it is, but loss like that hurts.
I weirdly feel like this could have been a great thing for PWat. His potential is sky high, it already seems like heās really mature to his age, so now this is just extra motivation to work and make sure the same shot in a game that really matters later in the season goes in.
I think Jokic should have taken the shot, but at full speed, I'm not going to be too critical of what he did. The Nuggets did commendably to score 130 points without three starters.
Great as Joker, he still has three areas for improvement: 1. Individual defense in the paint, 2. Cutting down turn overs, 3. Take the game over when the game is on the line and teammates shots not falling. For #1, Joker cannot do much due to his physicality, but he can do much better cutting down turn overs. Also he needs to be more selfish taking more shots to make things happen when his teammates cannot make any shot. Also the Cam Johnson and MPJ trade is a great failure to the Nuggets.
jokic is too smart, he is preparing teammates for playoffs, he can easily muscle his way to victory every game if he wants to stat pad his way to MVP, u can see he is only using like 70 percent of his true powers inorder to make room for his teamates to grow, coz he know make or miss his teammate will grow if he feeds them. True leader makes his team better.
