the league noticed this quick rebuild and decided to stop teams from getting a top 4 pick 2 years in a row 😂 im just glad the spurs are back as a championship contending team
17:35 the answer your question can this team compete the thunder in the west? Answer- they did it three times 3-0 against thunder
I'm so glad we had drafted wemby and not scootie hahahaha!!!! Plus very glad luck was on our side no matter how hard other teams tried to tank
What did all this to bring Wemby to SA was losing the Coin flip to Houston 🤣…The rest is having an owner ship group willing to let the basketball front office do their job!
Bruh just overlooked Castle was ROTY 😮 or was he just hating 🤔🤔🤔
Props to Brian Wright
Well when NBA rig drafts and give unicorn player you weren’t odds on favorite to win the draft and 2 more picks in the top 5, it’s easy to rebuild quickly
Its all about Victor
havent made playoffs since 2019
I admire this current Spurs' roster, but they are my Rockets' division rival. They have been putting a beating on Thunder lately.
Matthew 5:44-45 KJV
[44] But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you; [45] that ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.
The rebuild started in 2019 with Keldon Johnson, he was the first piece of the current roster. Thats when the Spurs decided to go young.
Culture aka corny black dudes
This is the Spurs team to take it all. They all continue to play good together and stay healthy. They can win it all. That got plenty of playoff mentorship to learn from.
RC BUFORD went on a SCOUTING TRIP to France think 2019 saw Wemby then traded off all the best players on Spurs on the hunch of Spurs luck and sure enough it all came to past ala Tim Duncan with Victor Wembamyma. RC BUFORD is GOD
Pop is part of SPURS Front office with RC BUFORD
Told y'all!! Spurs rebuilt a dynamic defensive juggernaut True powerhouse built from scratch RT okc threw a team together spurs are picking up top pedigree players in the draft not drafting brittle delusional khawi babies okc not gonna be the dynamic dynasty of this era Spurs are!! True Spurs Fan 4 Life!! Go Spurs GO!! P.S. no1 can catch-up 2 this rebuild either no1 has great draft capital like Spurs either they are gonna keep adding top draft picks & top stars can join spurs as free agents we don't wanna loose our top draft picks not gonna trade them at all
Didn't you say that the Detroit pistons completed the fastest build like 2 weeks ago?
@9:30 Wemby was young and the average age of the spurs was 23 and they were really good but made mistakes, miscommunicated and made some bad choices. With that said they stayed positive and committed.
Wemby, Castle, Harper, 1,4,2 draft picks helped the fastest rebuild.
This team in dangerous for sure! They are so much fun to watch as well. Many NBA fans attend games just to watch Wimby and the Spurs.
Harper’s defense is truly underrated as well. Plays with so much intensity on that end, he plays a lot bigger than he looks and he’s so aggressive
6:20 2024 draft is NOT WEAK
rebuilding for 5 years isn’t what I would call the quickest in NBA history
I've been so impressed by how this organisation has gone about finding players over the last couple years. They basically got Harrison Barnes for nothing and he's be a real stabilizer on this team. They didn't give up anything for him but cap space… And they got an unprotected pick swap for taking him on. And then they turned a bunch of second round picks, their own pick when they're likely in championship contention, a future Timberwolves pick – which did hurt -, and some role players and g leaguers (Collins being on a bad contract and playing poorly) into an all-star in De'aaron Fox. Essentially turning surplus into a great asset. Other than the timberwolves pick they didn't need any of these pieces. And now even if they were to ship him he'd be a huge asset and able to bring in a haul.
Bundling brahnam and Wesley off for Olynyk was a really solid move I thought and again might be useful in a trade package.
The draft picks and the signings have been amazing but it's definitely the trade deals that I've been most impressed with since Wemby arrived and gave the team a direction to build around
Why did sohan fall out of rotation
all of the spurs picks were amazing. each guard can defend and control the tempo if needed. all of them can step up and hit big shots, make defensive plays and facilitate
B. Wright and coach Mitch … Doing a great job Go Spurs Go!!!!!!!
Soulless AI slop
Fox castle harper vessel all 6'6" and below and then wemby a foot taller than everyone 😂😂 what a team 😅
My beloved Spurs are not only playing great as of late but also with crazy flair. The way they’re driving to the hoop is Jordan like. This was unthinkable 3 years ago.
Fastest?
Lol. The Spurs last made the playoffs in 2019.
Boston had the fastest. They only missed one playoff.
Do you think they need another Forward like Markennen?
Give me a break, it’s pretty easy to rebuild when you have three top four picks in three years. It’s lottery luck like when they got Duncan. Granted they did a few things right but that’s what the front office gets paid for. I think any team who drafted Wemby would have had a quick rebuild
Spurs tankathon complete!! Thank the tank for robinson,Duncan, and wemby. Garbage franchise….
