  1. The Lakers ain't that good. They're going to need to pull off another huge trade if they want to compete with the likes of the thunder, the nuggets and even teams like the spurs. LeBron hung around too long and he's too old to be out there playing. He's only able to front-run, he cannot hang in there and play When the team gets behind like they were against Houston on christmas. LeBron doesn't have it in him anymore to bring the team back from that far behind and Luka trying to do it by himself isn't enough. Even with Austin Reeves healthy and them three are on the court together they're still not that good.

  2. It removes a cone off the court but also a 20 plus scorer off the court so you'll just have to pick your poison ….

  3. Lakers season is almost over already, they aren’t going to get better when they still lack defensive intensity and lost their “second option”

  4. an espn clip without a bunch of black commentators shouting over each other?? is DEI really dead at espn? no, it's not

  5. Clippers are showing a pulse. Some signs of life. Interesting. Lakers are headed into the direction of the Clippers. No Austin Reaves for at least a month. Neither teams are on the level of San Antonio, OKC, or Denver though.

Selena Gomez, your Spurs are back, baby! But don't you think we are crowning the Spurs a little too soon? It is still the regular season. Playoffs is different. I remember the Spurs swept the Lakers in the regular season in 2001 only to get swept in the playoffs. OKC did have the 2024 playoffs to gain experience only to win it all in 2025. And we still need to see Wemby healthy at the end so he's available for the entire playoffs.

I wouldn't completely toss the Knicks. Mitchell Robinson has been so important for them. An offensive rebounding machine. They do have battle scars from the playoffs. If it's OKC vs. NY in the Finals, OKC probably wins. If it's SA vs. NY, NY has more of a chance. Style makes fights. And it's not based from the NBA Cup. San Antonio still has mostly zero experience winning a chip. Many of them have never played in the playoffs yet with the exception of Barnes, Kornet, and DFox.

I will put San Antonio as No. 1 now but we still have over 50 games to go. Things can change quickly. Injuries can happen. Skip Bayless, as usual, wants to get carried away. Maybe to jinx the Spurs to help his OKC. But you can see it in his eyes that he truly feels San Antonio is just better than OKC. Like way better. San Antonio duplicated OKC's formula but has the better and deeper roster. Long, athletic wings who can bother SGA and JDub. Chet looking like a scrub next to Wemby.

As for the Lakers, they got nothing. They got slow, unathletic wings. Ayton has never been a defender and has always underachieved wherever he went. Lakers fans were overly excited as usual like they were for Tyson Chandler, Montrezl Harrell, and Andre Drummond. Ayton is a loser. Luka is overrated. Great offensive stats. Takes way too many threes. Leads the league in turnovers which adds more squandered possessions from his low 3-pt%. While LeBron is a traffic cone on defense because he's way too old. Then they're coached by a traffic cone who hardly played a lick of defense as a Clipper.

JJ Redick can keep calling out his players and they still won't listen to him because they don't respect him enough. Luka and LeBron competed against Redick as players. JJ was born in the same year as LeBron and Nick Wrong. JJ is better served as a podcaster. He's better at criticizing players than coaching them. He already got his extension. He can get fired tomorrow and he will still get his paychecks owed to him. Lakers are a 6th seed at best but I see them falling even lower without AR15.

That nice early start by the Lakers was fool's gold as usual. For the last three weeks in November, they beat mostly tomato cans and barely in some of them. They still ranked bottom 10 in defense. They're a poor rebounding team which means if they miss their shot, there's no second chance opportunities. They're too slow or unathletic. Most of them aren't great shooters. Their current point differential is now at -0.6, yet, they're still a 4th seed. They're mediocre against winning teams.

Lakers were duping Charles of DreamersPro and many of their fans for a month and a half. Reality is finally sinking in. LeBron didn't ruin the team when he came back. They were never that good to begin with.

  6. Lebron makes his team worse. Its that simple. Anyone who truly knows basketball can see it, but the shills at ESPN cannot say that because they are all tied to Clutch Sports

  7. Lakers stink because of the game plan JJs throwing out. They just aren't a stand around and shoot threes type of team, and when they miss which is 85% of the time, they can't get back of defense fast enough to be in position to stop a high school team!

  8. DAVID YOU FORGOT ONE TEAM IN THE EAST WHEN YOU WERE TALKING ABOUT THE KNICKS AND YOU WILL REGRET IT IN ABOUT TWO MONTHS AND THAT'S THE BOSTON CELTICS!!!

  9. What? LeBron looks older than he's ever been…he is older than he's ever been…what??
