Annoying loss. I don’t think Foster liked being stuck in Portland on a Sunday. Bad turnovers cost us.
Blame it on Queta. Browns fault,
he threw it to the wrong team.
It was a little weird to watch Jaylen Brown get upset at White, but at the same time I liked that he showed some emotions. I think a lot of it had to do with the Blazers being very physical with him and the refs allowing it to happen; but when he got physical himself, the refs wee calling fouls on him. There is just a double standard here, which I think is unfair, but that is the NBA for you……
Teams know being physical with Boston can be a blueprint for success. Tonight was no different. Sloppy play and some questionable stuff from Joe.
When Hauser is off, which seems like 60-70% of his games this year, give Minott some minutes. Especially against a physical team. And then Walsh gets like 10 too? I don’t know but that was awful execution down the stretch and you couple that with pretty poor 3PT shooting and you get a loss. Let’s see how they respond against an Utah team that is much better (IMO) than their record shows. Thanks John ☘️🔒🐾
This was a frustrating loss as it was a winnable game. This game showed me 3 things:
1. even with garzas development, hes still inconsistent. We still need another serviceable big to play when garza is too physically outmatched to grab rebounds.
2. walsh is starting to simmer down. We need josh or baylor step up. None of fhe 4 has really cemented being the #1 wing option. Might be time to start hugo.
3. we struggle when we cant make 3s. As much as i love hauser when hes hot, he really doesnt do much out there when the shot isnt falling.
Hopefully we can get a revenge win vs. The jazz. We need a bounceback win in the next game. Thats a must win game to keep our lead for 3rd. Beat the Jazz! Lets go Celtics!
When we lose it’s always due to poor shooting from Derrick white and Payton Pritchard
Frustrated with people blaming Jaylen Brown. Of course, he will get double-teamed, and it will generate TO's OBVIOUSLY. He's the only one who can score. THE OTHERS NEED TO DO BETTER.
Shout out everydayers, in the second half we got a lot of open looks that we just missed as well. We'll bounce back
Last nights game was tough to watch ,not a good product .They made a WNBA game look good last night. Where was Minot last night ?Hauser gives you absolutely nothing else when he is cold 🥶
💚☘☘☘ A team loss / A collective suck / A Jaylen Brown "no joy in Mudville" performance. Sht happens ? Yup. It does.
Minott and Walsh not playing a lot is weird. I’m just about done with hauser
Thanks John
Portland played well.

It's asking too much, I suppose, to have every player working to the max every minute of every game. There are going to be nights when players are distracted, tired, fed up, complacent, or in some other way not fully focused on basketball. Several of our players were in that state, and some remained seated. This team needs all hands on deck. Certainly, it cannot afford poor shooting nights from Payton Pritchard, Derrick White and Sam Hauser, and they are too small to win every rebound battle. especially when the other team has a player (Mr. Clingan) who is even taller than Neemias Queta.
