I just saw the exact same foul in a different game. You can't elbow a guy in the face if his face isn't even moving. This is a foul in 2025, maybe not in 1990.

Illegal defensive position, you can't lean your head over into the the offensive player like that, it sucks he got hit in the face, but that isn't his space. He was fouling him already by going into him with the forearm to try and control his movement.

Dubs fan, love Steph. It wasn't the ball. Steph's arm hit him. Dude sold the call. I got no problem with it. A pick and roll with a QP or jimmy would've made much more sense in that situation. This call didn't lose the game though. The Dubs stink.
