New Year, New Knicks? | NY Got Game
The ball is about to drop, the calendar will flip to 2026 but have the Knicks actually changed?
On this New Year’s episode of NY Got Game, Dexter Henry is joined by CP “The Fanchise” of Knicks Fan TV to take a real, unfiltered look at where the New York Knicks stand as they head into 2026.
From the fan pulse to the on-court product, Dexter and CP break down what feels different, what still needs fixing, and what the Knicks must resolve if this season is going to be more than just another chapter of promise.
They dig into team identity, lineup questions, late-game execution, rising pressure, and what Knicks fans should actually expect moving forward—separating calendar optimism from basketball reality.
So the question remains:
Is this really a New Year, New Knicks?

Knicks only 1.5 games behind Detroit as the Pistons cool off a little and the Knicks play well. Road winning is the key to winning the east.
Pistons are going to be an issue
PAC wouldn’t have done all that!! He would have played it much cooler!!
Cp is a thibs apologist…. A blind man can see that we are a much better team than last year whether we win or not
Dexter, please look into having CT of the Streets Are Buzzing pod. He has a very good Podcast, he knows ball, just need exposure.
The Pistons will not be the Knicks in the playoffs
