  1. I love Harrison Barnes, but its tough to justify him getting those minutes and having that role when he can't make threes. He gotta start making them again

  2. 17/71 from 3’s the last two games btw

And don’t get me started with Castle turnovers.

  3. adjust… adjust.. if regular rotation players are off, bring in the vets in Olynik and Biyombo, Sochan for toughness and even Lindy Waters

  4. ‘Call upon what is appropriate at the time and use its energy for good.’

This coach literally is saying nothing meaningful. Smdh.

  5. Turnover and rebound is always been the problem – can this be emphasised more? The team just looking around and WEMVP can easily be outbox and outrebound by a stronger player!! Help him for Christ sake.

  6. Mitch has been looking very healthy as of the last month or so . I see a huge change in him . Congrats on whatever that is

  7. You said this shit last game and yet didnt do anytuing to stop it. If you dont have control of the locker room you need to step down.

  8. Investigate this coach Mitch Johnson as to why he's reducing the roster, turning them very weak, wasting Olynik, Sochan, Biyombo, Waters, McLaughlin…

  9. We have no true 3pt shooters. These last losses have shown that we need to make a move. Go and get Trey Murphy from the Pelicans. He is the type of player that we are going to need in the playoffs. Barnes and Julian have done nothing in all these losses. Vassell shoots a lot of bad shots. Offensively we are making the offense more difficult than it should be.

  10. Need to switch it up. Everyone knows your gameplay by now. Bring in other players that haven't been in the rotation.

  11. I'd love to see Wemby play more minutes, while also going back to being the 6th man off of the bench. That rotation seemed to suit the team very well and created some difficult situations for the opposing team. There's a certain psychological discomfort for the opponent when they know the Spurs secondary squad is just as good, if not better, than their first. We had a lot of success there, it's worth experimenting with more.

  12. Bigs are to far under the rim or just not there, they aren’t giving us any offensive rebounds. Shooting is very inconsistent. Driving directly into the defender when refs aren’t calling anything is just creating turnovers. Coach them up dude it’s not anxiety.

  13. A few things:
    1) Obviously, the defensive agressivity was not there when needed in the 4th quarter.
    2) On Dec 25 against OKC, the Spurs shot 11/29 for 3, but won by 15. So they could win more often by limiting their 3s to 25, 30 at the most. Some stats on 3s against both Utah and the Cavs are telling: Barnes 1/4 and 1/5; Castle 1/8 and 0/3; Vassell 2/9 and 1/6. Imagine the results if, instead, they had taken their time to shoot more reliable 2s…
    3) The Spurs need more size and presence to grab more offensive rebounds against teams with two great and tall physical opponents like Mobley and Allen for the Cavs, especially when you aren’t a great 3 pts shooting team like SA. Again, they should agressively pursue Moussa Diabaté from the French national team and the Hornets.
    4) Vic and Keldon were by far the best players against Utah and the Cavs (26 at 7/16, 14 rbds, 3 ass in 27 mn for Vic vs Cavs), but most other key players (Castle, Vassell, Barnes, Champagnie) had bad underwhelming games against both teams (Fox too against the Cavs, 4/13).

  14. Why does Wemby spend so much time on the floor? It’s very concerning. He falls after shots. He falls after dribble drives. He falls after turnovers whatever happened to game one Wemby when he when he torched AD? Also I hope he gets better at what Kornet does so well, easy dunks on lobs.

  15. Weve been good and pretty smooth (even in a few losses) with vic and daaron not starting together. I scratch my head at the nba's obsession with starting. Why not have 2 squads more equal in talent AND they flow better. If wemby and fox battle each other to score we nullify that option for a 2nd unit. There was this guy named manu….

  16. Players could go 0-20 and Mitch would keep chucking out the same players and line up. Dude how can you not see that this team struggles with 2 big line up. Cleveland has giving us issues for the last few years. Hell the Jazz just beat us and they run a 2 big line up and they have also giving us issues the last few year. But Mitch will just keep doing the same old sht!

  17. It's a joke ! All that time on the pitch to score 7 points, worst 3 points ? Seriously ? It's not turnovers at all !
