It's so clear who the most important bench players for this team are: Melton, Richard, Santos, TJD, Horford. Put Richard in the starting lineup over Moody (trade him along with Podz/JK/Hield). Seth Curry can take the backup PG spot with GPII playing spot minutes or saving him for playoff matchups. And man, MPJ would be a dream trade piece for this team

We just gotta retire Kerr or make him assistant coach, make Terry HC or hire Malone. Idk about Michael never pass the rock porter jr, but maybe we can also look towards the cavs, they’re incredibly vulnerable for trade snipes because they are doing horrible for who they are. They do get injured a lot so that’s an issue, but lots of bigger and more talented players could be available from em.
We need catch and shoot players like how Brooklyn had cam Thomas, MPJ & even their rookie demin was going crazy

Steve Kerr believes in Podz way more than he should.
Steve Kerr DNP’d Jayson Tatum 6-8 sg/sf one of the best all round 2 way wings in the league in his prime leading his team to a championship, DNP Haliburton tall point guard who lead his team to a nba finals berth… to play Josh Hart at the 5 in crunch time at the Olympics tells me everything I need to know about this guy. Jim is 100% right this isn’t a roster issue… it’s a coaching issue. Imagine if we drafted Haliburton instead of Kuminga… I now know why we didn’t… because he is too tall for Kerr’s dream back court… also god help us if anyone dares to take the ball out of Draymond’s hands on offense.
The front office can trade for MPJ… and Kerr would find a way to play Buddy and Podz over him unless MPJ can play as a stretch 5 with GP2/Spencer/Podz/Buddy lineup.
I’m not a Melton fan but, like Podz, he does hustle and is very quik
Love to see such improvement in MPJ's game compared to his time in the Nuggets. Nuggets really underutilize him apparently
the guys on KNBR are just like Steve Kerr stucr in the past. Always mentioning the Championships as an excuse to give Kerr a pass. Draymon is more humble , willing to adapt by offering to come out the bench if necessary.

It seems the Draymond Green at Center days are over… or should be. The best stretch of play I saw was with Trace, Gui, Will Richard, and Melton, on the floor wreaking defensive havoc on Brooklyn.
Will Richard should start over Moody, then bring in Melton, Santos, and Podz when Curry sits. The teams we've struggled against which are young, long athletic teams like Portland, need defensive & length oriented lineups to frustrate teams instead of guards running out to stop wide open 3's or rim runs. Having the most blown leads after leading 3 quarters thanks to Kerr. Also that Egor kid would've been a spot up shooter back in the day. He's not a PG.
Michael Porter Jr was kicked out of Denver because he was a defensive liability.
Trace should be starting let Draymond come off the bench Draymond said he would come off the bench to make the team better but stupid Steve didn't like that idea idk why he should listen it might work and I already knew curry was going to start lose cuz that overtime game got the starters tired
Man, it's a shame TJD and Melton was sick against the raptors and couldn't play because I think he would have have helped a lot on Scotty Barnes and the 25 rebounds that he got. I think they would have helped us enough to not lose that fourth quarter lead, especially with Melton getting his rhythm back. Not his three-point shot but he's hitting off his inside the arc shots. So Andy was another. You know ball handler. It's a shame. But I really like the unit with Butler tjd Melton gui santos and dray for when Curry is sitting.
Its so clear to me that steve is trying to form relationships and keep them instead of just accepting some players are better than others. He knows what to do he simply doesnt wanna do it because he has extreme favoritism
We need to trade for a long-wing defender. Tjd did just as much as nic claxson and he logged 15 minutes less. Tjd has 21 minutes with 11points 6 rebounds 1 steal 2 blocks claxston had 35 mins with 14 points 9 rebounds 3 blocks. So we do not need to waste our assets on Nick claxton we need a long Wing defender. Bring back Andrew Wiggins. It would be freaking perfect or get Herb Jones. I also would be perfect
But everybody saying that the warriors are looking for a long-winged athletic center. No way man. We do not need it if you play tjd 20 a night. He'll give you just as much as Nick claxton does in 35 minutes. And no we do not need mpj he's a standing cone. His defense is just as bad as Nikola vucevic, we need a long Wing defender that can score the ball. Give me back. Andrew Wiggins go get her Jones use your assets for guys like that. Don't waste them when centers when you already have our horford Quinton post and TJD
Sure mpj would make this offense a fire power but man it would really compromise our defense man real bad.

I'd rather have Andrew Wiggins or if you're going to really go all in and trade all them players go get Lori marrkenn or go get Andrew Wiggins back. If you have to use two first round picks who cares do it? Stephen Curry is still the best player there is. If you have to unload the clip to really help this team then go do it man.
For how Currie is still playing at All-Star level? I mean this front office is just crazy man. They need to unload the clip. Kuminga, mosses, buddy 4 first round picks and a few 2eds for herb jones and Trey Murphy. I mean that would be your future right there with them two on your team and immediately catapult you in the title. Contention

I like how we're giving the bench credit like the bench doesn't just happen to have all of our length for some inexplicable reason, like idk someone on the bench should be starting. I just need to know why Post and Santos dont both get 20-25 minutes a game
Curry spent most of his minutes in a 3guards lineup (bum Hield one of them) with washed Green in the 5. Meanwhile Podz played huge minutes along side TJD, Gui, Butler and Richards/Melton. It's been a while since Kerr prioritizes better lineup for his lover Podz what makes me wonder all of his bs moves are on purpose.

Good commentary. Melton is special. GP2 is special as a roller and on D. Gui Santos is solid. Will Richard I SOLID. TJD is tough. GP2 and Melton and Richard play big on D.

I agree with your closing statements (along with others) that this closing line-up won't be good enough against the best teams in the league. Kerr gets bailed out of poor decisions just often enough that he continues to make poor decisions.
Kerr is the perfect example of a coach trying to force fit players into his system rather than constructing a system around the players he has.
What do you think about trading for Brandon miller or benidict mathurin? I mean, obviously if they're willing to trade either of them players and if you can't get someone like Trey Murphy or Herb Jones, do you think that either one of them would help this team??
Bringing Porter into this Locker room would be the end of this teams hopes period
If we trade Buddy, Moody, and Podz then that would A) Force Steve Kerr to not play them any minutes 👍 AND B) Allow Melton and Richard to play heavy minutes at the two while Pat Spencer becomes the backup one (and hopefully Santos and TJD, otherwise known as "The Jim Park Players", get a lot more minutes as a result of having less guards on the roster ) 👍
