Jovic needs to play good, so his trade value increases! He still needs to be traded ASAP!
Trading for Giannis and losing our young guys and draft capital won't turn out great imo if we do it. We most likely won't trade Bam, but it's the best option because we can keep depth doing so. I would say if we aren't comfortable trading Herro as well in that deal, then I would maybe try Bam, Norm, and Simone with picks for Giannis and Portis. Not too big of a fan of Portis, but we do need a big coming off the bench still.
At the end of the day though, this is clearly not the right move. Bam and Giannis offensively wouldn't be great imo. Kel'el Ware is younger, stretches the floor better, and can protect the rim and rebound well. He's basically a younger, faster, and more athletic Brook Lopez. With the way Bam has been lately, he doesn't have anymore room to grow on offense. Great defender, but inconsistent offensive player. His time should be up in Miami. Same with Herro imo.
Rebuild should be the option, but if we're 100% locked in on getting Giannis, then I still think moving Bam is the move. Not Ware.

First Pat is sleeping because the Heat can't get a superstar now they have the assets and now you don't want to trade and keeping Ware? Trent you are all over the place. You really think Ware is better than Bam why because he has a few good games? Your problem is you want Bam to be something he not. Bam is a 15-18 point scorer 10-13 rebounds a game who plays elite defense who need to plays along side a superstar. If you want to win now you don't trade Bam now if you rebuild you trade Bam and keep Ware but psst i got a little secret. The Heat does not rebuild so Trent let it go with the rebuild thing but if the Heat do decide to rebuild im all for it but came to the realization that this front office is not into the rebuld business.
