  1. Cannot understand anyone thinking KOLEK'S the one who's skill set may be redundant once all the guards are back and healthy. If anything, it's McBride, Shamut, and Clarkson who all appear to be variations on the "3-and-D" big guard/small forward role. Tyler's the one who's an actual distributor and court general while none of the rest of them are.

  2. I also want to push back a little on this notion that Tyler’s skill set will be less valuable in the playoffs. Kolek can orchestrate an offense as a pure PG, arguably at a higher level than Brunson who’s specific super-power is creating his own offense. What I’m looking for, over the course of the regular season, is what sort of balance Brown can strike between these two weapons. What we have already seen is that Kolek can share the floor with Brunson quite harmoniously, even allowing Brunson to play offense off the ball – as he did with Luka. I don’t see redundancy or contradiction here, only opportunity.

  3. Dadiet or diawara just have to, have to, have to step up. They are both 6’8 / 6’9 players that can add a new dimension to the team if they play with Koleks intensity

  4. The vast majority of Stockton assists were also simple dump offs or post passes. Even the best passers only have a could of stand out passes a game.

  5. Kolek won't be a Knick for too long guys. This take of "The Kolek rising" reminds me of Hartenstien being bought out by OKC. Can anyone name a team where Kolek'can fit in? Does anyone on the chat agree?

  6. Amazing what can happen when the HC doesn’t have extreme tunnel vision and thinks his way is the only way.

TK has made the most of his opportunity while Deuce has been out. If we still had the other guy from last year it’d be josh hart playing 46 minutes the last 2-3 weeks.

  7. T.K. IS THE BEST NATURAL POINT GUARD ON THE KNICKS HE MAY NOT SCORE LIKE BRUNSON AND HE MAY NOT ME A BETTER DEFENDER THAN MCBRIDE BUT HE IS THE BETTER ALL AROUND ( POINT) GUARD ON THE KNICKS LIKE I SAY A VERY YOUNG JOHN STOCKTON OR MARK PRICE I WILL STAND BY WHAT I SAY.

  8. AND HE IS A MUCH MUCH BETTER PLAYER THAN BRONNY JAMES 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

  9. The one thing about Kolek that I like the most is his ability to vibe with whatever combination of players at any given moment which means he is in the rotation to stay even when Deuce and shamet come back.

  10. Kolek will play, but Deuce has to play 30 minutes a night. The difference on defense is massive when Deuce can defend the point of attack.

  11. Mitch was dominant on the boards, but he had another pretty bad defensive game most of the game. His defense has been mediocre most of the season.

  12. This team (coaches, players, attitude/identity) & this season is the best present Knicks fans could have ever hoped for. I started following the Knicks when I moved to NYC in 1999 and I can honestly say I've never felt so good, so confident about this team. Even with the success last year, I was always nervous, worried about, well, pretty much everything, all the time…so much so that it was sometimes hard to enjoy the success, despite a great record and an amazing playoff run, etc. This season feels…different. I have so much confidence in Coach Brown and his leadership, which seems to have made an immediate impact in the locker room in terms of the team dynamic, rapport and culture. How awesome is it to have such a robust bench w/ so many great options? And not taking anything away from Kolek's recent inspired play, I feel like we can't overlook Clarkson's contribution as a dependable ball handler and shot maker who has stepped up on numerous occasions when the Knicks were struggling and delivered a clutch bucket that allowed the Knicks to regroup and get things back on track. And Mitch Robinson is more than just the guy who is on a historic, record-breaking pace for offensive rebounds and who facilitates an extraordinary amount of second-chance points…can't help but feel that in many ways that may not be obvious to fans, Mitchell Robinson is the soul and the conscience of this team, his spirit and attitude help to challenge and inspire. What an exciting, fun team to watch and root for! What an awesome gift for long-suffering Knicks fans!

  13. Tyler Kolek has the ability to draw coverage and find the open man. He has the court sense necessary to be a successful point guard, and an innate understanding of “court balance.” If you leave him alone he’ll knock down the shot, if you play up on him he can get past you. In a back and fourth game, like PP in Boston, he can do impressive shit.

In the playoffs, when the court shrinks by seemingly half, iwe will see what he can do.

  14. Kolek has a magical way of gelling with this team. He is invaluable to their pursuit of a Championship[. Go Tyler and Go Knicks! Fun times
